Barratts Sherbet Fountains - 1Kg (40 tubes)

A favorite treat from my childhood living in England. My first order arrived a bit early. I was very pleased. My second order was taking forever so I ordered a third box. The second and third orders arrived on the same day. (I don't know what happened there!). The second order was very fresh and the powder was loose. The first and third was kind of hard packed. I put the powder into a tea cup, smash it with a fork and dip the licorice sticks. Some of the sticks are thick and work very well. Some are a bit thin and don't last through the portion of powder. I still love it and can't get it here in the states so I will continue to order through Amazon.

Wonderful taste from my childhood sixty years ago. The liquorice is now just a stick whereas before it used to be hollow so you could suck up the sherbert - bring back the hollow liquorice.

Yummy! What more can I say except that I miss English sweets and being able to order and have them delivered to the US is the best.Arrived sooner than expected!

I grew up with these things as a child and have never fallen out of enjoying them immensely. They have not changed in...well, many decades!
