This is the perfect gift for a little girls starter book collection!!!

I love this puffin series of classic childrens’ books! Last Christmas I got my granddaughter The Secret Garden and this year I’ll be giving her this beautiful copy of Anne of Green Gables. I love these books so much that I plan to make sure that she gets a copy of all the books in the series.

This is a great book! The quality is great! There are some words, like sorrel, that were new to us, but we were able to learn a few things. The story itself is a must read for any girl or woman looking for a good wholesome story.

I fell in love with "Anne of Green Gables" after I retired. While I had read hundreds and hundreds of books as a child from age 6 on, this was one I'd never read. After I read this one I discovered that there were more in the series and read every single one of them. Once I took a few of them with me on an extended trip to Venice. I would go exploring all the nooks and crannies of Venice during the day, dine well in the late evening and then retire to my lovely room and read the series books where Anne is an adult. They refreshed me for the next exotic day. I treasure all of the "Anne" books. And, they eventually sent me on a trip to Prince Edward Island which has been one of the highlights of my life.

This is a very pretty print of this book. It’s a book. I’m very excited to have on display in my front room.
