4.5 starsI already enjoyed the first book but the second one is even better. Rafe is supposed to be the sophisticated brother when it comes to the Viscontis but the moment he meets Penny, he looses his control. A gypsy once told him that a red head would ruin his life and ever since redhead Penny entered his life, he starts to get unlucky. But his obsession leaves all safety far away and Rafe gets more and more tangled up with Penny.This slow burn was absolutely perfect. I just couldn’t get enough and I am glad that this relationship happens in a duet. The development of Penny and Rafe’s relationship is absolutely wonderful. It’s so obvious how Rafe’s falls more and more in love with her.Penny is a delight. I love this girl so much. She knows how to wrap him around her little finger. It’s funny to watch the bantering and passion ignite. Penny and Rafe are truly a match made in hell.Also the side characters are just perfection. Rory and her bird puns, the brothers relationship. I just can’t get enough of these characters anymore. I have become very attached to the Vicontis and I am super excited for the next books.

Rafe visits a fortune teller who tells him The Queen of Hearts will drag him down to hell but he doesn't believe her until Penny a redhead on the run walks right into his bar.I love Rafe and Penny and I didn’t think anyone would beat Angelo and Rory but I was wrong. This book picks up right where book one ended but it’s a new couple. This couple was literally made for each other. I loved the banter between them and the back and forth of hate and lust. Everything was perfect romance aside the plot was beautifully written and kept me interested.
