This filter is hollow in the middle missing a spring valve.
Today 5/17/2022 after a long time since I purchased it I tried to use and it would not fit into the filter holder. After extracting the older from the Buick Encore I saw that there should be a valve with a spring that clicks when you have to replace it. There is a missing spring that would have to click in the holder and this one didn't. What shall I do it is sitting in the garage unused, I purchased one from NAPA and that was perfect. Is it possible to receive one with the spring valve?Thanks.
