This is my second Swanson’s Probiotic. I used, the first one Probiotic Formula around $18.00, 30 day supply, and I couldn’t determine if it was helping or not I have IBS-C. I used them for 2 months along with their(I THINK there is only one prebiotic for them on Amazon. I stopped using them both, and now I am trying Complex. I went back with Swanson’s because I talked to their customer service about my concerns, and helped me to work through my issues with the Probiotics Formula. They did not recommend this one or suggest this one it was solely my decision. I just thought the name probiotics complex might bring different results, as some of the ingredients have more, or less, or other strains in comparison to the prior probiotic. I have decided to take probiotics regardless of me knowing if they are working or not because I understand / learned that probiotics are good for your gut health. I am trying to lose weight and read it think on www. healthline.com if your gut is not clean then it will make it harder to lose weight. I am sorry if this review is not helpful. I do not have much information to offer regarding this product; the only things I can tell you is the company is a good company and they stand by their products, the products are very popular, and the little information I know. If your doctor didn’t recommend (mine did he didn’t say what kind or brand he just said any one of them would be fine) and you didn’t do any research. (I did) I think talking to your doctor and starting with research would help. There are many types of specialty probiotics. There is one that’s sold by Swanson’s for weight loss. I’ve been on that one for almost 3 months. L. gasseri. I am not sure if it’s contributing. I have loss weight using the same methodology in the pass, and have been very successful; the only thing I’m doing this time is using that specific weight loss probiotic. It doesn’t curb my appetite. Yes, with proper diet (meaning eating cleaner) and exercise. I’m not looking for magic, and not putting in any effort. Maybe different probiotics brands takes longer. Maybe if your gut is not the cleanest maybe it takes a while so I’m going to try 6 months to 1 year to see if I see or feel a difference; if not I will look for another brand. My goal is to clean my gut health. So, I will continue to use probiotics or maybe even prebiotics again for the rest of my life. I wish you the best with your journey!!
