I was very curious about this. I am a former school art teacher turned homeschool art teacher and work with a range of ages, so I got this to see how it could be useful when deciding on themes for art projects. I have to say that I even use it for myself, it's a lot of fun and there are thousands of combinations that can be created using this tool. It can also be used to create sketchbook prompts, which is what I use it for, for myself. My students enjoy spinning the arrow and I allow them to choose as many choices as they would like.

A neat idea, good execution, and good for when you really need that quick idea or inspiration. I think it’s interesting for sure and has a bunch of different prompts, but likely not your thing if you don’t have a more realistic art style, or if you need a more direct sort of direction when it comes to prompts as they are very vague and up to interpretation, which isn’t bad, but something to keep in mind!

Good quality material. Spinner works great. Lots of fun ideas. My students had fun using it.

A lot of inspiration for students who might be stuck. My middle school students just aren't that into it when I pull it out.

This is a very straightforward idea generator but it also works as a fine color blend wheel and can be a fun and valuable gift for young kids getting into drawing or painting. Basically you just spin the arrow to get color, texture and idea suggestions and with all of the variables you can theoretically have thousands of possible combinations. Some of the combinations can give you some really out there recommendations like an "indigo tree bark explosion" but that is kind of the point! You get a challenge each time to flex your creativity. Prefer this over the apps since it keeps me away from the phones. Good weight and quality construction. Impressive variety in the ideas. Cheers

I thought I might like this for myself, but found it was a better 'brainstorming' teaching aid with my daughter.It's about the size of a sheet of paper and has a ton of ways to mix it up. The spinner and I find a lot of times it takes two or three spins to find a doable idea.One of those online artist influencers could do a whole year circuit just being random off this wheel.Fun product falls in good gift range for an artist in your life.
