I bought these container because of the various positive reviews from mulitple sites. The containers I recieved are cloudy and marked, not crystal clear. The lids on the other hand are are crystal clear, which makes me think the container I received are made from a different plastic or are factory seconds.

4 large lids missing from order meaning the four largest containers cannot be used

Everything came perfectly intact and without anything missing (and this was just in the Rubber Maid box and each piece is packed just in plastic bags or plastic sheets). I got a limited prime deal price of 154 for the pantry set that has 20 containers (40 pieces) and two half cup scoops. I got hooked on the Brilliance line a long time ago even though after a few years, they get all these ugly lines in the plastic and they can crack fairly easily (not the lids though). But I put the bodies in the top rack of the dishwasher and the lids in the bottom rack so maybe they would last longer if I hand washed. I also put them in the freezer. Anyhow, having had many of them before, I do think that when nesting the new ones of the smaller sizes (3.2 cup, 1 cup, I think), they seem to stick or squeak together more so I believe they changed the plastic. Don't know yet if that means they are more or less durable. Also the big pantry containers are still thicker than the smaller ones and feel more durable, but I think the originals were even thicker. I love how almost all of them tesselate together (two smaller containers fitting on top of one larger container...) and they look nice. I'll update if there are durability issues. I do love that they come with the scoops now.
