Made my son's very dark chocolate hair look straight up blonde, it was wild. Took almost two cans to get that coverage though, but was soooo much better than I ever expected from a temporary spray in!

A lot of reviews complain that the beach blonde is actually gold and gets everywhere. This is true, but the gold actually works pretty well on very dark colored hair if you’re not using it for everyday cover-up. I used it on just the top layer of my hair to lighten it a little for a costume and liked the look. It is very shimmery, but I didn’t mind because, again, costume. I really appreciated all of the reviews saying how messy it was and found it was easy to mitigate with some planning. I used one of those caps that people use to pull strands of hair through for highlighting. I cut a big hole at the top and pulled the top half of my hair through. Then I sprayed my hair outdoors so it didn’t get in my house. I also applied regular hairspray afterward to lock it in, because the gold shimmer tends to shake out and get on your hands when you touch it. After that, I didn't really notice it getting anywhere!

Did not work well at all on my slightly dark brown hair, Instantly makes your hair absurdly dry which probably isn't good. It looked like absolute crap and not blonde at all like it showed in the pictures. There also isn't nearly enough in one can. My hair goes a little below my shoulders and I estimate I would've needed 4 cans to fully color my hair. To its credit it did all come off after one shower which was a huge relief. So I guess there's no harm giving it a shot if you still really want to.

I normally don't write reviews, but I have to let everyone know my experience with this product. This product does work if you want the color for your hair and it does come off with shampoo, but I just want to let everyone know that this product will leave a mess in your bathroom or anywhere you spray this product. This product has glitter like material that flies everywhere! I have it on my clothes, my wall, my mirror, my bathtub, my bathroom door and worse part is that it is all over the FLOOR. This has been the second day that I have to clean my bathroom and there's still glitter everywhere! I would recommend finding a different product or spray your hair outside. It is NOT worth the headace cleaning your bathroom or your whole house as glitter are very hard to clean! Thankfully Amazon refunded me my money!
