Rubie's Girl's Peacock Costume Dress

This costume was beautiful and seemed to be made real well. I think it’s gonna be sturdy and last a long time. My great granddaughter will outgrow it before it starts to show any age. I think you’ll love it. It’s really pretty.

My daughter is 5 years old, tall for her age & weighed about 50 pounds when she first wore this. I bought a small & it was perfect with even a little room to spare. Now, it’s 5 months later & it still fits when she wears this for dress up. It’s true the top little hair piece is not the best but it’s easy to customize, figure out how to keep it up & add some pizzazz to it. My daughter loved it & everyone commented on how beautiful she looked. Not really too peacock looking but still pretty darn adorable.

The dress is so pretty, and my daughter got so many compliments in it. It runs a little large in the straps at the top, and we had one of the clear wing straps snap immediately. Thankfully a new one was quickly stitched on. The other downside was the headpiece - it was matted and just unattractive. We tossed that and ordered a different one, and otherwise loved the costume.

I was a little hesitant purchasing this costume after reading some reviews, but my daughter insisted on having this costume for Halloween. I was 100% happy with this purchase! My daughter wore it twice for Halloween/parties. She still wears it around the house. Some reviews were negative because of the headpiece but it stayed perfectly in place in her hair with a couple extra bobby-pins. Super cute and fit her perfectly. Well worth the money.

Costume is decent quality for a Halloween costume, however the headpiece is NOT as pictured. It comes with a measly little feather instead of what is shown on the model. I know accessories are usually sold separately but when you say headpiece and show an example of it that is what I expect to receive. We will try to make it work since it’s not worth the hassle of returning and trying to see if a different headpiece arrives. My daughter does look super cute in it!

My daughter wears a 14-16 in school clothes and I got the large (12-14). Fits perfect with even some slack to grow in. The head piece is pretty cheap with only a hair comb holding onto the feathers but thats ok. The colors and make of the bodice,skirt, velcro tail piece plus the wrist cuffs for the tail piece makes up for all of that. We've been waiting a year for this costume because last year it was completely sold out everywhere. So glad we were able to get it this year. Completely worth the wait. Bonus: no hassle shipping and it was a reasonable price. My daughter is very happy and excited to finally get to wear this beautiful costume this year. Thank you very much.

My daughter chose this costume after we couldn't find a blue macaw that suited her. The colors are Fantastic! I thought it was a little delicate so she wore it only on Halloween at school and for the evening. She won the most original costume contest at school and received compliments over and over throughout the neighborhood. It's very well made and will hold up for playtime dress up as well. My daughter is 4'6" and 90lbs. I ordered a large that fit her torso very well; I did safetypin the green shoulder straps with the purple straps to help them stay in place. We've gone back and forth over adding some sort of wire or boning to the tail as it didn't photograph as well as it looks in person but she does like to "flap" the tail. All in all a great costume.

Beautiful costume, my favorite custome she has ever worn. Age 7 wears size 6/7 and a small fits petfectly. Tge colors are bright and are just so pretty on my daughter. The head piece was broken and missing feathers. Needed to use bobbie pins the clip was useless. After one Halloween party peices broke off. All in "hem" lines. Upon inspection closer the part are all sewn together with only 2 to 3 stiches. I had to grab a needle and thread to secure the costume. Poorly constructed. As long as you willing to spend a couple of hours sowing, I wouldn't order, unless its a one time use. But my daughters had a party, a dance, and then trick or treating on actual Halloween. Over all four stars because I was able to fix easly it with time. Overall I did not mind spending the time to sow away for my daughter's happiness !

Gorgeous costume. High quality materials. Head piece not as good quality as the actual dress, but still very effective. Order in good time to ensure delivery in time for your event/Halloween.

Meine Tochter wollte heute im Fasching mal ein neues Kostüm. Das Pfauenkleid ist echt top. Nur der Kopfschmuck lässt zu wünschen übrig. Habe ich jedoch mit einer anderen Maske ergänzt. Ist gut im Fasching angekommen. Würde ich wieder bestellen.
