Q: Is this bike pretty light ? I have bought a bmx type bike for another son and it is so heavy makes it harder to pedal

In my opinion this is not a light bike, however this is what makes it sturdy. My 3.5 years old did not find it dificult to pedal. This opinion is subjective - check the specifications of the bike to get exact weight.

Q: can i get this bike wiyth a kick stand ?

Q: Does this bike have coaster brakes?

YES, they do! At least the two I bought do, I bought two bikes at different times and they both have coaster brakes as well as a handbrake for the front wheel. Both bikes are the smallest size, I think 12", so maybe the larger versions don't. Both of the twins love them and use only the coaster brakes so far.

Q: Has anyone found this bike to be too heavy for their child?

Yes bike is way too heavy for my 5 year old. Purchased it in 2020 for his 4th birthday. He’s about to turn 6 and it’s still too heavy for him. Our son is very skinny not sure if that matters but he does really good with everything else— scooters, roller skates, skateboard. He can’t seem to hold weight of bike.
