Works for my use
I wasn't sure if I could split a good quality but long CAT6 POE cable to run two cameras without supplementing the power.I bought this in case I had to add a 12V power supply. It doesn't come with one but I have some that would have worked. The cameras work fine with the power from an indoor POE switch. So, overkill but I might need it someday. I'm happy with it.

Doesn’t come with a power supply
It’s kind of useless without the power supply. Very annoying.

Great way to add another camera without running a whole new cable
The media could not be loaded. I added a Pan/Tilt/Zoom POE camera to my Blue Iris system at our lake house. To run a separate cable from the POE switch in my basement utility room to the new camera would have required a 75-foot run from the basement, up through the wall, into the attic, into the crawl space over my garage, and then outside to my garage roof overhang. It would have been possible, but it would have been a pain.I already had a camera mounted in the garage so I was able to split that cable to feed the existing garage camera and the new PTZ camera with this POE extender. I plugged in the existing line into the input jack, ran a 10-foot cable from one output jack to the existing garage camera, and added a new 15-foot cable from the other output jack to the new PTZ camera. It works like a charm and it was much easier than the alternative. The icing on the cake was that this extender does not require power if the input is coming from a POE switch so I didn't have to add a plug for power in the garage crawl space. I was worried that the power wouldn't be sufficient to operate the PTZ camera in addition to the existing camera, but as you can see from the attached video of my computer screen, panning on the PTZ camera works fine with no issues. Also attached is a screen shot of the existing garage camera working perfectly as well.Highly recommend the product as a cost-effective and easy way to add a POE camera to a surveillance system.

Nice Poe extender
This works well for extending Poe to cameras or access points, saving the trouble of running an additional cable. Seems to hold up so far.

Built well and works great for IP cameraa
I am using this to power two IP cameras on the side of our house that don't support Wi-Fi. Since there is not a good receptacle on that side of the house, PoE is really the only option, and this splitter made that a lot easier.Distance is from the main PoE hub is about 30 meters, so not too far. Still, the splitter provides ample power to the cameras using the single Ethernet cable from the main hub. I have the splitter installed under the awning area, so it doesn't get wet. It seems like it would be fairly water resistant, but dont want to take a chance.Video signal over the cable is good and there are no problems with it. Overall, this is a very good splitter and well worth low price you pay. Highly recommended.Build Quality - 5/5 Well-made and durableSignal Quality - 5/5 No discernable loss in video qualityPower Delivery - 5/5 Very good for low-power cameras and devicesValue for Money - 5/5 Very good bargain for $17Overall Score - 5/5 Stars - Very good product and value.
