Extreme Sealing Tape 4411N Translucent, 24 in x 36 yd

This is a true sealing tape. The strength of the adhesive and suppleness of the backing mean it conforms and sticks to any kind of surface and stays put. I originally bought this to seal the spoke holes in a motorcycle rim. It is so effective at sealing and staying stuck that I can now use the rims without inner tubes. I have found numerous other uses for the tape also. It works awesome for sealing edges that are exposed to weathering and keeps water out no worries. If you need strong, long lasting and truly waterproof sealing, this product is great.

My customer had a jacuzzi tub installed in his bath, and it was nicely done, but they didn't put enough support along the back wall and faucet end. This is evident when you fill the tub, or stand toward that end at the shower, because a gap opens up between the caulk and the tub, causing a leak and subsequent water damage to the ceiling on the floor below. There was no way to add the support without tearing open the tiled wall, so the flexing wasn't going to stop. This tape was applied right over the grout, with half covering the tub and half covering the adjacent tile wall. It's waterproof, it stretches to conform when there's weight in the tub, and best of all, the translucent color helps it to blend in perfectly with the white tub and tile work. Awesome product, and easy to handle, even when handling a six foot long strip!

This is what it says it is "Extreme Sealing Tape" - It really sticks!! I used it to seal up a motorcycle rim with spokes so I could mount a tubeless tire on it. I cleaned the inside center of the rim and taped over the spokes to keep the air from escaping. I took my time and really pressed the tape down onto the rim to make sure it all stuck good. I also installed a chrome valve stem I got from Amazon. Then I mounted the tubeless tire (actually - a car tire!!) that I also got from Amazon & filled it to the max air pressure. I let it sit overnight before putting the wheel back on and tire pressure was exactly the same the next day. It's been nearly a month and about a thousand miles of riding - and the rim has stayed sealed!! (-: I've also used this tape on another project where I needed some electrical wires to stay in place and it worked perfect for that too. Once you get it all pressed into place on a clean smooth surface - It's gonna stay there and is not going to come off!!

This tape keeps three flexible solar panels stuck to the fiberglass roof of my Sportsmobile poptop. Even with slight pressure as the flexible solar panels go over the bolt bumps on the roof, this tape sticks. I have checked after 1000 miles, 2000 miles, and then 3000 miles, and this tape is completely bonded to the solar panels and to my roof. I guess the only downside would be that you would have to use a utility knife to cut the tape around all the edges of each panel (or whatever item you’re sticking to...) in order to take a panel out if you had to for some reason. And that is not a bad thing. This is the real stuff. It completely bonds to whatever you stick it to and to whatever your anchoring that to. In my case, it’s solar panels to a roof. I just stuck this tape around the edges of each panel and then stuck the underside of the exposed table to my roof. It took five minutes to bond, and according to the manufacturer, 24 hours to fully bond. And I can attest, it works- VERY, very well. If you are trying to stick something to the root of your RV or some similar application – this is the stuff you want. @VocalVirgo

I used this tape to seal a spoked motorcycle wheel do that I could use a tubeless tire without using a tube. It worked perfectly. Super sticky and strong stuff!

After trying to convert my tubed front tire into tubeless with a well known conversion kit from Japan (which didn't work as expected) and looking at multiple reviews and conversions made with this tape, I decided to give it a try. This is a one side tape, so conversion would only use this tape on the rim. The sealing was great and the tire held every inch of pressure after sealing. If this tape works for sealing a rim with 30+ psi, I'm sure it will hold for any other sealing job that you have. Great product from 3M.

I bought this in both the 1.5 and 3 inch widths to seal around a window in the roof of an a-frame camper. The previous owner had tried to fix the issue by putting gobs of caulk all the way around the window, and it was pretty ugly. I was able to tape right over the botched caulk job. The tape is very easy to conform to an uneven surface, and because it's translucent it doesn't look half bad. Worked perfectly - no more leaks, either with the camper collapsed (flat horizontal) or deployed. It also looks like it will be very durable. I liked the way it worked around the window, so also decided to tape the seams at the edge of the roof and around the roof vent.

Used this product along with the 3M Marine sealant to convert my motorcycle rims to tubeless. This tape is incredibly adhesive creating a solid seal.

Das Band ist echt super habe am Wohnwagen am Vorbau am Dach fugen abgeklebt das ist schon ein Parr Jahre her. Das Band ist immer noch OK.

I used this excellent tape to seal the leaking window frames on our 47 year old Tollycraft boat. Although it took planning and practice (very sticky so no do-overs!) it worked perfectly: our boat is now drip and leak free, even in extended periods of heavy rain. Highly recommended product!

Ich habe das Band zum abdichten von Leisten auf dem Wohnmobildach unter den Schrauben verborgen sind gekauft. Die Klebekraft ist sehr gut. Bis jetzt, (3-4Wochen) ist auch alles Dicht :-) Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich aufgrund der kurzen Zeit noch nichts sagen, aber denke dass dies wohl schon halten wird da der erste Eindruck von dem Material sehr gut ist. Daher Daumen nach oben.
