It fits the threads on a fuel nozzle
I got rid of the plastic leaky fuel nozzle on gas caddy and purchased an aluminum fuel nozzle. No leaks. I use gravity now to fill my equipment.

Parts fitted exactly so no issues (1/2" NPT to 5/8" barb). Only issue was Australia Post delay. Tool over a week for it to be dispatched once it hit Perth

No good!
The barbs are NOT for 0.500" ID hose as per the descrption. Not sure if I got wrong part number or they just fit this bad. What I received was smaller than 7/16" hose barbs. major leaking without massive pressure using a hose clamp. Would be a 5 star product if the size was listed correctly.
