I've built 2 booknooks and this was definitely the more challenging of the 2. It has extra pieces which is good as several are very tiny so need smaller fingers. More glue -- which is very quick drying -- used than in my other one which was mostly connected wood pieces. Tons of fun!

The quality of the exterior walls was subpar, as the paint transferred onto my fingers during handling. Additionally, the glue provided was dried out and unusable. The instructions for assembling the lighting were unclear, making the process unnecessarily challenging. While the final product looks acceptable, several pieces broke during assembly, requiring me to glue them back together.

I am now kind of addicted to building these. I've gotten family members into them now too. I get hyperfixated on projects, so I wound up doing it all in one day and then I wanted more. If I had more spaced (and funds), I'd get a bunch more for rainy/lazy days. My only warning: pay close attention to the way it says to put the pieces together and read a few steps ahead to make sure you're doing it correctly because the pieces are delicate and can only be fixed so many times. As a HUGE Harry Potter fan I had to change the “Time Station” to the Hogwarts Express. 😏 The kit was perfect. The assembly was enjoyable for me because I love detail oriented, time consuming, intricate projects. The lights work perfectly and the instructions were very good. I just made some alterations with some of the pieces (as you can see from my photos) and printed my own miniature posters, etc. and placed in right between my Harry Potter books. I definitely recommend this product.
