I'm a road rider. In short, a really good light at a great price, but the mounting is trickier than necessary.Pros: The light itself is sturdy and well-made, and it lights in the darkness very well.THIS IS THE UPDATE: Once attached to the mount, the little release tab must be pushed down while light is moved until it clicks into place when tab is released. NOW, light is securely fixed, but as a safeguard, I've used the wrist loop and attached it to my bike, so IF it should come off, the light won't be lost.2ND UPDATE: Despite some very bumpy conditions and my bike falling a couple times, the mouting has held the light securely. This is a great light & I highly recommend it!Cons: There are two mounting parts but no illustrations about how to install either. After I went back to pics on Amazon, I could see, but should the buyer have to do that?! I think not. Directions are incomplete and in very unskilled English (see 2nd pic). (Lost star is for the instructions.)A second mount is apparently to be placed on one of two different sized tubes on the bike (see 1st pic), but not for the light itself; rather for phone or other item.

The media could not be loaded.  The lamp itself its heavy and looks some old fashioned, but i don't care about how it looks. I care about performance. And this thing looks like nearly indestructible, and for ten dolars its a BINGO. My worries are related to the base of the lamp. It looks fragile compared to the lamp, which in itself looks like a component of the Terminator.

This light is bright enough for riding at night or as a daytime running light. It's strobe mode will definitely grab anyone's attention. That's the good bit.The mount is one of the weakest ones I've used on a bike. It's locking tab wore away after 12 miles(20 km) of riding. Los Angeles' roads are definitely not the smoothest but 12 miles is unacceptable by any measure of longevity.

If you're thinking about a lower lumen light don't ... I ride a road bike early morning and after sunset on major thoroughfares and now I have the confidence to not run over things using a little flashlight. This thing is worth the money! Now the accessory holder on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired but that not what I spent the money on... I'd only consider brighter lights than this but I didn't want an external battery to deal with... You won't regret having this thing on your bike!

Here's the thing, you designed a great rugged light, you forgo one important detail, the mount. It's a bike light, the mount should be bomb proof like the light. The mount slips, rattles, doesn't stay in place and finally the mount broke - sending the light into the street where it got run over. Good news, the light still works, which is great, but now, I have no way to mount it. You did a great job up to the 80% mark - if you design a great product make sure it's the entire package.
