"The design, materials and look of this fine bookcase are tops. This is a sweet purchase which once assembled is designed to last forever. They even have the forethought to give you extra parts in case you lose one or two! Ironck is a super company and this is my second model of theirs that I have bought!" I wrote the review above about a year ago, and now I have actually purchased an additional five more! You see, my wife is a researcher and a bookworm. These shelves hold your books without being unduly wide or deep. So, you need to determine if the measurements suit your needs. My wife and I also own four more bookshelves that we bought previously from IKEA. So, I want you to believe me when I say that in every way Ironck makes a superior, most magnificent bookcase. The design of these shelves allows you to easily assemble them and it is almost impossible to put the pieces together incorrectly. They designed the assembly to be goof proof. The shelving materials are most solid compared to others I have bought and the use of strong screws means that these shelves will certainly outlive us all! They used to sell this model with Christmas-like lights but they stopped doing this. However, when the lights that came with my units failed to work, I emailed Ironsk and they swiftly sent me a new string of lights! Because of their steadfast customer service and the sheer quality of the design, I wrote Ironck to compliment them and I promised them that I would write a super customer review that assured perspective buyers that for around $100.00 one cannot go wrong. I should know. I have bought and assembled a total of nine of these bookshelves in the last three years and was able to compare them to my four other IKEA Bookcases that I bought previously. Trust me, Ironck products rule! They are a solid, durable investment and there is so much to love about them... Lastly, they are very cute.

My old bookshelf broke and this was the first (online) one I bought that seems like it’ll last, it’s a little wiggly given I couldn’t bolt it into the wall, because there’s a window there (but I’m sure with that added step it’d be a lot more stable). Only realized once I added all my books how little room I had left (to my own surprise, buying this I was sure 60+ books were a little too much for an Amazon shelf). I’ll definitely be looking into getting a second one when my collection grows, it was very easy to put together, given my lack of patience when it comes to building furniture, it was an hour or so job for me. I will say it is a bit messy out of the box, styrofoam bits and pieces, a little dusty too, a wipe down and sweep fixed it up nicely, just for warning. For the price though, I’d say it’s worth investing, it’s a solid bookshelf if you’re handy with tools. *update* Yeah, bought a second one; the styrofoam is my only complaint (even though I’m very aware it’s to protect the pieces in transit, I’m just a styrofoam hater). The only issue I had with building the second one is with the door magnets, I do recommend a drill because by the time I got to that step I’d been awake for 20 hours and was too tired to keep toying with the little screwdriver they send you in the box; the doors still close with out it, just don’t securely latch (which I honestly think is just user error lol) I just suck at building things but with all the books they’re weighed down and very sturdy, so do recommend

The only reason I gave this a 4 star review is because I was missing a few screws to complete this; I did send an email to the seller and due to my foot injury its too much to go to the hardware store to find screws that would match. I used a table to assemble the top and bottom pieces then placed both units on my bed to complete, then slid the unit off of my bed to avoid any further injuries to my back and foot. Otherwise it was very easy to put together! It looks great and takes up much less space than the other shelf I had in the room. I love the look! I just wish the company made a smaller unit with a hamper and shelves that I place next to it so they match. Love the quality!

It is absolutely gorgeous and took less then a hour to put together love it very sturdy and holds quite a bit. It’s not too small and it’s not too big. It’s perfect. Everything aligned very well easy to put together and very sturdy Yes I do have my Christmas tree up already in this picture 9/20/2025

Best piece of cheap Amazon furniture I have bought. Amazing predrilled holes line up perfectly and most of the hardware is steel. Seems quite sturdy for being so lightweight. I had no issues with assembly whatsoever.

Looks great and is fairly easy to put together. We have it in our very small living room”area” and it is sturdy.

It went together without issue in less than an hour and is pretty solid. I think it will last quite a while…but, I hate it. The shelves are too short in height and depth for a standard 3 ring binder. The shelf inside the doors is not as deep as the rest thus it definitely won’t hold it for what I needed. So, for me it’s not going to function as intended in my office. Now, I know this is my fault. I should have looked at the dimensions and made sure it would suit my needs but seriously… why? So, I’m going to try to find an alternate use for it outside of my office for regular books.

Beautiful shelf, I absolutely love the storage space underneath. Can't wait to finally be able to get all my books out from storage and fill the rest of it out!

I love this bookshelf i'm working on revamping my room and I wanted something that didn't take up a lot of space but had a good amount of storage. This has been perfect and it was easy to put together alone, very clear instructions and I was impressed with the quality of the boards; overall it feels very sturdy and I would strongly recommend!

Easy to assemble, looks very nice when done;

This is a great shelving unit for a small space. The shelves are not very deep so it can be difficult to find use for the cubby in particular. Also, shelves are not adjustable. Overall, it looks nice and fits our space well so I am happy with it.

Very impressed! All the tools were included and instructions were very easy to follow. Assembled this bookshelf by myself. Would definitely recommend this product!
