We got this to replace a faulty gauge on our grill. This one is bigger than our old gauge, but it looks great and works really well! The accuracy seems good. It seems like it will last a good while. No issues with humidity so far.

I have 2 of these now. I checked my elevation to find water boils at 209* here. I adjusted this thermometer using that temp and boiling water. It reads same temps as my meat thermometers which are constantly being checked for calibration. The display on these are always crystal clear as others pull in smoke or fog up. The 1st one didn't need calibrated but 2nd did. I could care less about that. Once calibrated I'm certain of my temps. Most people fail to realize that these thermometers are showing dome or cabin temps according to airflow not actual grill grate temps. Actual grate temps should be monitored by a separate digital thermometer. Your grill temps are lower at the beginning of a cook and gradually become higher. That being said,I will never buy a different dome thermometer unless they change something or the quality lessens on this model.

Accurate right out of the box. I tested it alongside my multimeter also with another temp gauge.. Once the water reached it boiling point the temp held steady. Quality seems spot on and the rubber seal underneath worked as a gasket to seal in smoke and heat loss. The size of the gauge is very readable especially for viewing from a distance. Will upgrade to 5 stars after cooking with it.
