I've bought toys before for my large Shepard and he ALWAYS found a way to destroy them in less than a week. However, this toy seems to be his match. It's durable enough to prevent him from tearing through it yet soft enough that he can chew down on it with ease. ALSO, one added bonus it SQUEAKS! which he simply loves to hear! He refuses to go anywhere without having it with him. I would recommend this toy for any owners of medium to large dogs.

I bought the toy because it said its for aggressive chewers. Jake is s strong and aggressive chewer and he destroys toys within minutes. This toy is going strong after a few play sessions so I have high hopes!I don't like the color or the pitch of the squeaker but Jake LOVES it. I just have to make sure to hide the toy before making any calls or joining online meetings! The 5 stars are from Jake. I'd give it a 4 but if it survives longer than a month I'll increase the rating : )

So I bought this and several others to keep our 2 yr. old Olde English Bulldogge from chewing on my wife's shoes. This one is her favorite of the rest. It really isn't all that durable though. It took all of 2 days to chew one end off so it doesn't squeek anymore. That was only occasional chewing in that time. Not necessarily a bad thing given its relatively inexpensive and bound to happen at some point. I plan on buying a few more of these. Maybe with regular rotation they'll last a little longer.

This toy is so fun for my pup. He is terrible at not just shredding, but eating every toy that we give him! We have to watch him constantly when he has a toy. Well, this red grenade is doing wonderfully. He has managed to nibble off a couple of the nubs. But, when we see him doing that, we take it away. When he gets it back he plays with it and chews on it like a... normal dog. Anyways, if it can last this long with my pup (it's been at least a few months), I would count it a very good dog toy. I will also note, that my pup is about 40lbs. And, I think technically this is for a larger dog. But, we did that on purpose, knowing that he likes to destroy toys. So, I can't attest to the strength for a larger dog, but it seems to be pretty strong.

This is a very durable chew toy. My dog is a very aggressive chewer and she destroys most of her chew toys, this one is holding up well. Very happy with it. I would definitely recommend if you have a very aggressive chewer.

Squeeker stopped working in 5 minutes of my dog having it. Doesnt seem interested in it now. But he hasn't broke it yet so..

This is an amazing tough toy that my pitbull/retriever could NOT tear apart. He has a thing for the squeaker in the squeaking toys. He still some how managed to disengage the squeaker, but he did not rip the toy apart to get to the squeaker. Great toy!! Better than Kong toys I've tried.
