Cute, sexy, and a whole lot of fun!
'Lemon meringue, strawberry shortcake, blueberry cobbler. Nope, turns out nothing sounds as delicious as Ryan Calloway.'Let’s start simple, shall we? Sweat by debut author Rebecca Jenshak is cute, sexy and a whole lot of fun. So much fun, in fact, that this would have been a one-sitting read for me, but for the fact it’s frowned upon to read while driving. . .So, instead, I read it late into the night and, upon closing it, felt the wash of happiness that comes from reading a book that’s satisfying. Because that’s exactly what Sweat is. Satisfying—and a great start to a new series.I have a feeling I’ll be making the trip back to Sweetbriar Lake several times in the future, which is a good thing, since Elle + Ryan . . . well, their story ended before I was ready. It was a lovely, rewarding ending, don’t get me wrong, but I was so into this couple—in particular, Elle, who I related to and connected with almost immediately—that I wanted a little more, a little longer.Having said that, their story is complete and completely sweet, too. Ryan was exactly the level of yumminess you’d expect from that cover (mmm, that cover), and his romancing skills were above average. In fact, they set the bar pretty darn high for Chris, whose story with Tori I am already anticipating.Since we started simple, I’m going to finish simple, too. Sweat by Rebecca Jenshak is a highly enjoyable, superfast and sweet small-town romance, which shouldn’t just be on your TBR—it should be near the top, too.“I’ve been waiting for you to push me into a corner and have your way with me since the first time I saw you.”~ FOUR STARS ~

New Author Alert !!! Rebecca Jenshak gives you this sweet romance that will make you fall in love with the main characters.
New Author Alert !!! Rebecca Jenshak gives you this sweet romance that will make you fall in love with the main characters.Elle is a Lawyer who has moved to Sweetbriar and away from her scumbag cheating ex. Let me tell you I wanted to maim his parts as he clearly doesn't know a good thing if it smacked him in the face with a lawsuit. Her ex will be coming to town for a black tie charity ball and Elle decides to sign up for a personal trainer.Enter, sweaty, sinfully gorgeous Ryan whom I loved in this. He was super super sweet and just an all around great guy. Not like the douchebag ex. He is exactly the kind of training that Elle needed, not only to get her in shape but to teach her that she should be treated like she deserves. These two were just sooo cute together. I could honestly picture them in my mind, you know those obnoxiously gorgeous, cute couple smiling and running together that you can't help but love because they are just the nicest people in the world. I was totally rooting for these two instantly.I loved watching their relationship grow. It wasn't instant but it was a great gradual building of sweet romance. This was really the perfect summertime romance read for me and a great debut from an Author that I will definitely be following. Rebecca does a fantastic job of also introducing us to other characters that I hope will be upcoming in the next books in this series.Definitely recommend this if your are look for a sweet romance that you can sit out on your back porch with a nice glass of wine while the sun is setting and read or lounging by the pool or a beach.

The plot was great and was drawn in from the start.Ryan and Elle have amazing chemistry when they are together. I also love that the heroine is not a small perfect girl. I love how she is average size and has flaws.I was hoping to read about Ryan and Elle snowed in...that would have been awesome!I hope we get to read about others in the town of Sweetbriar.

Missing parts
Nice story. It's either bad formating or other issue but there are blank pages and missing texts. Zooming in/out change the text.

Ending needed a little more, imo.
I liked it and it kept my interest all throughout. I'm even going to sample the next book in the series. My only problem was the ending. The h apologized to the H but I actually wanted more. She should've told him how badly he hurt her by not checking on her after she was shot and how angry she was for him ghosting on her without saying anything. It was pretty much "I'm sorry. I'm sorry, too." Now they're back together again.

Great story
Awww, this is so sweet. Elle and Ryan loved them. Absolutely recommend this and can't wait for the rest of the series. Elle is a lawyer who moves to Sweetbriar after a break up. An upcoming work event where her ex will attend sends her to the local gym to get in better shape. Her personal trainer is the owner Ryan. And we go from there lol.

I loved the premise
I loved the premise, the character development and setting. Had me hooked from the first sentence. I am a carnivore of good stories and this book fed my hunger. The author left a great set up for another book and I will be waiting!
