Q: Did you buy the scope for hunting?Is the focus ring easy to use?Light weight compact to take?

I got it primarily for zeroing in and target use, and it works well for that purpose. Both the zoom and focus rings are easy to use and it is very light to carry. I recently found myself using it to watch a pregnant deer on my property about 100+ yards away. As she turned around, I was able to zoom in and see a very full utter - she was close. Her twin fawns were born the following day.
