I have been in the classroom for 23 years now, and I love Rob Plevin's books. His book, Classroom Management Success in 7 Days or Less is an amazing tool to help with any issues new and veteran teachers may face. He gives easy-to-use techniques to help with behavior and with engagement. I particularly love the chapter on engagement because we have all had the student(s) who seem totally unmotivated and "bored." This book gives techniques on how to get them engaged in fun ways that will make them want to attend class every day. I highly recommend this book.

This is a must-read for new teachers and veteran teachers alike! Classroom Management in 7 Days or Less lays out all the foundations necessary for a successful classroom in a practical and manageable way. It is a fantastic quick read before a new school year starts and for the years that you inherit a challenging group of kids and need a refresher in management practices that will enable you to maintain your sanity and successfully reach your students.

Read Classroom Management Success in Seven Days or Less! Rob Plevin's practical book is chock full of sensible advice for new teachers. Take for example the important matter of establishing routines. Do you want to be a teacher who is stressed out, with a heavy workload, and constantly repeating instructions? Headed for burnout? I would guess not! If you follow his sensible advice clearly and simply explained in the book you can avoid these problems and spare yourself a lot of headaches. He tells you students need to know exactly what they should be doing in any given situation to minimize teacher stress, student misbehavior and classroom efficiency. His chapter on classroom routines gives you a list of important routines and suggests that you teach them, practice them and post them on the wall (only introducing 1 routine at a time). If you follow his sound advice you will become a more successful teacher, and have a better classroom environment where students can concentrate on their studies and have a better chance of learning! I look forward to implementing his advice in my classroom!

This book is a quick read with information that can transform your teaching. Rob Plevin breaks down that developing relationships is the key to successful classroom management. He provides many steps to accomplish that and also provides resources that you can download to help you. The techniques are so easy that you could adopt them tomorrow. Do yourself a favor and buy this book.
