Works great.A proprietary battery for a device I have died, so I used this attached to a big 12v DC battery to simulate the exact voltage and amperage that the broken battery provided and it works perfectly.Very good value for money.

First one sent to me was erratic and the adjusters did not work. After a few minutes of adjusting it started smoking.Requested a replacement and the replacement works! Feels like a score when you can get questionable to poor electronic quality from you know what country. I'm happy for the price. Expect duds if u can tolerate the hassle of exchanges.

Neither the CV nor the CC pots do anything at all, whatsoever. The device also gets almost dangerously hot in only a couple minutes. This thing is utter trash, in my hands. The fact that so many users have this bad experience means that, even at $9 and even though this works for some, you're gambling with your money and your time, and possibly your safety. DO NOT BUY.

I had two of them that work great for voltage adjustment, but the current isn’t there no matter what.I finally got a 3rd on and it works fine. Solar panels to pond aeration is my application.

Most people won't know what synchronous rectification means but it's a good thing when it comes to switching power regulators and minimizing energy loss. This seems to work very well barely getting warm when dropping 24 volts down to a couple of volts at a higher output current than the 24 volt input current. The adjustment for current limit is very fine requiring a lot of turns on the trim pot.

I'm using this on a solar panel to drop the voltage from 20 volts to 13.5. I am running a power inverter without a battery so this buck converter works well for that application.
