This cream is really nice. It smooths my skin, feels good on and isnt greasy. Im really impressed with the pump. It doesnt leave any cream left in the container. Good value. However, I did not notice that it lightened dark areas on my face.

I'm ashamed to admit that I've spent a lot of money on skincare--everything from drugstore to premium brands to prescriptions from my dermatologist. While everyone's skin is different, this is the product that works best for me. (I am in my 50's with paper thin, dry, extra sensitive skin.) There was one other retinol product that my skin was able to tolerate, but this worked even better and was a better value. I had a couple of superficial scars on my face that had been there for more than a year, both of which were gone by the time I finished my first jar of this. My sun spots seem to be slowly lightening up a bit. My skin just looks better. It's not a facelift in a jar, but I can see that it makes a difference over time and I appreciate it. I also appreciate that there's no burning or itching; this cream goes on like a luxury moisturizer, yet works like what it is: the maximum amount of retinol available over the counter. I gave it 3 stars reluctantly, because it is actually a very nice product. It did not change my skin's appearance, as far as I can tell, but it definitely FELT smoother and more hydrated. My beef is with the price in combination with the deliberately deceptive packaging - the jar you receive is maybe 3 inches tall; but about 75% of that is empty. There's barely any cream in it. Most of the jar is hollow, completely dry and clean. The actual product is in a tiny, flimsy plastic layer at the very top of the jar. I'm sick to death of the shameless greed that leads to this kind of false advertising, and I will not support it no matter how much I like the product. I canceled my subscription.

I got overnight results! I use the green and white bottle of the CeraVe hydrating facial cleanser first and then I use this cream after and the results are actually life-changing like I'm 27 and I swear I already noticed the lines in between my eyebrows, not to mention my skin tone was pretty uneven and super dry around my nose and forehead area. The Revlon colorstay liquid foundation has full coverage and covers it really well, but honestly it's like I don't even need foundation anymore because of the way the combination of the facial cleanser and this cream worked miracles for my face. When you're in your young 20s, you kind of just feel like you look the same way you did in high school, but since I'm almost 30 I've been able to tell that I've been growing up and my new face care combination has reversed my aging for real. My skin tone is so balanced now and I was able to say goodbye to the dry skin because of the way my new face care combination has worked. I got years back in my face and I look like I'm glowing. I've never had a skin care routine, and this was totally unexpected. I should've been paying more attention to those skin care videos online lol but I'm so glad I have found something that works
