Firm bedtime favourite
A lovely set of stories for bedtime. My daughter loves hearing all of her favourite characters. Since she has had a yoto player she goes to bed easier after 1 story from us and then listens to a story on her player.

Fake peppa voices in at home with peppa
This particular card has imposters pretending to be peppa, daddy, grandpa pig, etc. My 2yr old clocked it straight away and doesn't like this card at all. Fine though if you're kid never watched peppa on TV or heard any other cards thus knowing what peppa should sound like.

It’s normal voices change for a cartoon that is 15 seasons long by now. But the overall recording / editing quality of this card is lower than the others. It’s monotone, Peppa sounds weird (not the child’s fault, it’s a directing / editing issue), all the others sound weird too. And it has a lot less audio complexity. The other cards feel like they are real episodes! This one feels like a separate recording read from scripts. However, it might be good as a first card for young kids who are not used to audiostories yet, since it has a slower, calmer, (more boring) pace…overall bummed. Luckily anything Peppa is toddler gold if its new, so let’s see what the toddler thinks and if she will avoid the card in the future or not.

Editing my review to take another point off as the other Peppa card I bought (Peppa on the road) has the original voices but this one has random voices and the voice of Peppa is very monotone and off-putting. There’s also a lot of crying in these stories and it gets annoying to listen to.
