OK, they are comparatively expensive, but these are frankly the best precision sprue cutters you can buy. The fine point of the 74123 model allows you to get tight to the smallest parts and these cutters do not pinch the plastic (like a cheaper pair would), meaning cut is super clean and the amount of clean-up to the plastic part is very minimal, if at all. Note these cutters are designed for precision cutting of parts from the sprue - if you want to cut the sprues themselves or are working with thicker plastic, get the 74001 Tamiya cutters, which offer a more all round ability. I use both of these cutters, they're worth every single penny, they're brilliant, very high quality and will enhance your skills and improve your results.

My Citadel nippers were getting to the point of needing an upgrade and these were one of the most recommended products I could find.They’re fantastic quality and do the job! They cut through sprues (both Gunpla and Warhammer) like a hot knife through butter with minimal white stress marks left over. Been using them for some time and still feel as sharp as ever.Would highly recommend.

Whilst slightly expensive, you definitely get your money's worth with these.

If you want a really beautifully built set of sprue cutters that really clean and close to the sprue , then these are for you. VERY minimal clean up of the part needed afterwards with a fine sanding stick , but to be honest you really could get away with just trimming the part off and attaching it straight to the model. Nice fine point too so the plastic does net get pulled or bent when cutting. Highly recomeneded

I use these as my 'good' snips for my most valuable plastic minis. A bit pricey, but worth every penny.
