This is a great mps player that is super easy to use
I was looking for a cheap but big storage mp3 player and thats what i got and so much more. This is a great mps player that is super easy to use, after a few goes i found the buttons and how to use the device very easy and it felt like i'd owned it for years. It has a very easy to use menu system so that you can find your songs by artist, album or song title, once you find an artist you can then choose to either listen to a album by its self or you can listen to all the albums together this to me is a good idea as i dont have to flip from one album to the next. The on off button at the side is a easy slide up or down so you know when its on or not, and is firm enough so that it wont go off by mistake. It's really easy to transfer music from your computer on to the device, i just drag and drop music into the music folder on the device.the only real downside to the device is that charging the device does take a few hours and the best way to do this is by plugging it in to a wall socket, the device does charge when plugged into a computer but seems to take alot longer than when plugged into a wall socket. Also album art work does not appear when listening to that album but that's not a big deal as im listening to the music, but its nice to see the bands cover artwork. So all round a great mp3 player with loads of memory at a nice cheap price, its been good for me.

Fantastic Player but with a Naming Niggle.
You get 16gb of mp3 player for under £20 . . . Not really anything to complain about.A few comments for people who are wanting to buy this in the future1) Buy a decent pair of headphones. I bought some in-ear sennheisers for £19.99 and it's made an absolute world of difference2) As some have already commented, getting the buttons right is a little awkward. As someone used to an ipod (but hating the software and price) it takes a little getting used to. Instead of the middle 'play/pause' button being the 'select' it's the 'up/menu' button mostly used.Even though it has the buttons arranged in a circle it is not wheeled like the ipod is. However, the buttons do have a satisfying click.3) When attaching your device just plug it in and leave it. It lights ups the numbers 1-5 then connects automatically and allows you to transfer music.4) Right. My biggest problem with this is the way the device itself arranges the music. It lists them based on the metadata title and not the given title. This means that if the metadata isn't numbered it orders the songs in alphabetical and not numerical order and if you're someone like me who has to listen to albums in the correct order it's annoying.I've had to change the properties from 'read only' to 'archive' on album folders to allow me to manually input numbers (001, 002, 003) on each track to make sure they're in the right order. Do use 3 digits and not 2.EASY FIX!!!Ok, so it turns out that there is an easy way to get the device to order things going by track name.Don't click on the 'Music' folder. Click along until you get to the 'Navi' selection and it's the folders are basically laid out like they are on the computer when you transfer files5)I've not had much luck transferring videos but I've not tried properly and it's very likely that I've not being using files of the correct format. The included Tom and Jerry file is of surprisingly good quality.6) The instructions are written in hilarious chinglish so do have a read as even though they're not very useful, they're great for a giggle.

Honestly worth the money!
My dad - God love him and his hatred for iPods - had gone quite a while without a portable music player. When buying his new phone, he realised it didn't have enough disk space for music files. Or hardly any space for *anything*, for that matter. And so for his birthday a few weeks ago, I decided to search for a cheap, simple, yet well reviewed mp3 player - preferably with a large disk space. And I came across this. And you know something? A 16GB, easy-looking mp3 player - for under £20! - is an absolute steal! All other mp3 players I'd looked at around the internet came close to the price but not the disk size, or vise versa. And I'd seen mostly positive reviews for this product and realised perhaps it was worth buying. And I wasn't wrong! The battery life is outstanding (since he started using it the day after his birthday, 26th October, he has only charged it once. Today is the 11th November!). The quality of audio is wonderful (although I also supplied him with Sennheiser earphones, but try it with your own earphones, it'll still be good!). You can play videos on it, and can even put photos on it if you like. It comes with a built-in game of "Bricks" that isn't at all like Tetris (nope, not at all ._.). The responsiveness of the buttons are also 100% excellent, without the need to mash buttons to get them to respond like you would on a cheaply made mp3. I hold my very first mp3 player from 14 years ago in mind...The only reason for not putting up the full 5 stars is mostly because of the mechanics of the buttons. Sometimes it's the centre button to 'select' a menu item. But sometimes you have to press the down or up buttons to do the same. So, it can get a bit confusing... But, that's not *completely* terrible, and you'll get the hang of it. Ultimately, the pause/play button will still pause/play, the previous and next song buttons will still skip or rewind, and the lock switch will still lock the device.Another reason I only gave 4 stars is because it took me two and a half hours to realise that, in order to put music files onto the mp3, you first plug it into your computer, select the "charge and connect" option with the UP button, not the centre button, and THEN it will appear on your computer. And, in all fairness, it isn't really a reason for removing a star - it just made me look at my university degree in shame :(But overall, I would 100% recommend this mp3 player. It's great quality, inside and out, it's simple to use (one for the iPod phobes like my dad!), and it has an impressive disk size. All for a respectable price! And now I look at my still-religiously-used 8GB iPod nano 5th gen - which at eight years old, now has a broken screen, and a paltry 1 hr battery life at most - and myself with an increasing frustration of constant iTunes updates and syncing issues that maybe I'm growing bitter of "popular" music players and I should take a leaf out of my dad's book and get myself a HCC Too, too... Also.
