I’ve got to say that this is by far the most well constructed and durable straw hat i’ve ever seen, i’ve been searching for a nice hat for a while now and every review on other hats talk about how badly they’re made and how they fall apart and are damaged in shipping. I don’t know how but this hat was delivered in a bag with no padding and it was in perfect shape right out of the bag, this hat is well manufactured and tightly threaded with the straw to the point where you can bend and twist it and it will not have any damage and on top of that the head hole fits my head perfectly. The only and I mean only bad thing about this hat was that the black draw string was a pretty cheesy little black rope so I simply got a black shoe lace and used that instead and now this hat is a perfect 10/10. I have a photo comparing it to the popular “quicksilver” straw hat and you can just tell how badly the other brand is built in comparison. Do yourself a favor and get this hat if you’re looking for a cheap, well made and good looking straw hat.

It was delivered quickly (1 day early in fact) and is a good quality hat. One minor thing was the tape around the rim didn't come black, and instead is a tan color but that to me is far from important. This hat feels durable and the inner elastic hatband make for a nice fit. This hat doesn't blow off my head in the wind near as easy as my last hat without using the Elastic closure.Well worth the money with this protection from the sun. Job sites feel 10 degrees cooler walking around under this puppy. ;)Edit: As for the "black rim..." Looking closer at the picture of this hat here, the colors do actually match. From Amazon pictures that rim tape looked black to me at first glance but when holding the hat next to me. They are the same color, would add another star if I could.

I really like the appearance of the hat and it provides full coverage of my face and neck, which is exactly what my dermatologist recommended for my skin care.There was one issue with the construction of the hat and that was the binding of the straw at the termination point at the brim. The straw thatching was not attached to the brim, so i took some glue and built up the loose straw and let it set overnight to ensure it would not unravel. The glue dried clear so it did not affect the appearance of the hat and now there is no possibility that it will unravel. Other than that I do like the hat, but believe a better QA process should be in place before sending out a hat with fraying straw ends. The fit is snug, but I believe the straw will stretch a bit and conform to my head over time.

This is good hat and shades you nicely but it is pretty tight on my head but I have a big melon

The product description said the length/width of the hat is 17.5" but the hats that I received for the 2-pack were a little over 21". They looked like they were good quality and I wish I could've kept them but the brims were just too wide for me - felt like a mini-sombrero. The seller was very professional and responsive but just suggested that I buy two of the individual hats (which I guess are 17.5") but two of those would've been way more expensive than the 2-pack. I ended up returning them.

This is a great hat for doing anything outside. It’s built really well and feels durable. I would definitely measure your head to ensure getting the right size because it’s snug enough that it’s not going to flop around.

I really enjoy wearing this hat; gives me comfort knowing I am protecting myself from the intense sun while I do yard work. I am female but the hat fits me perfectly and with the adjustable drawstring chin strap, I can easily take the hat off or don it securely.

This hat was great for the Phoenix zoo. I was completely covered in shade.
