Easy to use and enough information to pass to gp if necessary

I didn't mind the price at all for 2 dipsticks, and the little kit is professionally presented with a good leaflet. But this is a generic kind of dipstick for basic urinalysis, just like all the other dipsticks. So it checks other things, and there are only two for the liver (Urobilinogen and Bilirubin)Which is exactly the same on any average dipstick.It seemed to work fine, so I have no issues with that. But for other people who buy it, if you want to run this test regularly, it would make sense not to buy the sticks in this form, but to buy a little pot of maybe 50 or something to save a little cash.I suppose one good thing is it does give a quick glimpse of all other possible issues apart from the liver just as any dipstick does.Overall I am pleased with it for a quick guideline but...if there's any serious concern about your liver, it would be best to have a proper liver test via a blood draw at the doctor's, because that would measure all sorts of enzymes and give a pretty good picture of liver function which these little tests can't do.

Works well

These definitely do the job, but I found the process to be a little bit convoluted, and there's quite a lot of instructions to get through. In my opinion, they could have made the test strips more user-friendly, rather than getting colours and trying to match them to a guide and then scrambling through the massive instruction pamphlet to find out what that means. You also have to do all of this relatively quickly, as after a minute or two you can't trust the colours anymore - so if you miss it, it's a do-over.All in all, it's a good product, but it's overcomplicated. Price is good, you get a few tests which is useful.

Works. My ex has been diagnosed with liver problem through drinking so, to reassure my daughter that my red wine isn't a problem, I did the tests. Liver fine. Test picked up blood in urine and doc said that's just normal female urine infection and gave me 3 days antibiotics.

This was very useful and easy to use. I recommend it highly. I have gallstones and wanted t test if my liver was under pressure and the result made sense. I am a nutritional therapist so i understand the background to the tests but the accompanying notes are good. HOWEVER always see your Dr if you are concerned even if test is negative.
