This is a great product and works very well so I would definitely recommend it. I use an iPhone 6s and this charger is more or less the same size as my phone so hopefully this helps if you are unsure of the size. It sits in my bag or pocket very nicely and is sleek and very well made. The built in connectors for lightning and android are a great feature and mean there is no need to carry any cables while you are out and about. The device charges my phone very quickly, much faster than my usual mains charger and I have found that I can use it at least twice before needing to recharge it (this is usually from around 20% power each time as I rarely let my phone. Go lower than that - I'd imagine you could get two complete charges at least but I haven't tested that). To sum up overall - very well made, looks good, nice slim design about the same size as your average smart phone, convenient built in cables, does the job it's made for very well - what's not to like?!

This really is a wonderful portable charger. It is a beautifully designed, elegant, piece of technology. It's very light and slim, with built-in cables for both Apple and Android. It is also very simple to use. After charging it up with the provided USB lead, there are 4 blue LEDS which show you how much power is available. After connecting to a phone or tablet etc., press the 'on' button and the LEDs will light up. Once you have un-connected items from the charger, it turns itself off after a short time. The in-built cables mean that I no longer have to carry extra leads around and they tuck away very cleverly so will not get bent or damaged when the charger is rattling around in a bag. It is ideal for me; it will charge my iPhone with the Lightning connector, and I can use the Micro-USB cable to charge my camera and Kindle. It is a very stylish design - something I do care about - and definitely the best portable charger I have ever had. The company are extremely good to deal with - friendly and extremely efficient.

I travel a lot and have long days exploring places. I use my smartphone for maps, navigation, research local town, checking restaurants, taking photos, HD videos + more so there is always at least a few days per trip where I need 1.5 to 2 charges. I wanted light, portable and no need for extra cable. I've had this battery pack for 2 years and about 30 trips and it has never let me down. It actually fits into a guys pocket with a phone pugged in. The cable and plug is still strong, after being dropped at least a couple times with phone plugged in and yanked a bit. It still definitely holds at least 1.5 charges giving you about 2.5x battery life on a Galaxy S7. I can also cahrge my girlfriends iPhone when hers is low too so all round, I cannot rave enough about this product. Ultimate solution for the needs above, and for less than £25.. wow. Great work Iceworks!

The Iceworks 5000mAh portable charger appears to be well built with an intelligent use of cable storage which integrates the two charging leads into the body. The useful addition of a set of Blue LEDs to indicate levels of available charge and the units own charging is a further useful additional and gives reassurance to the user of the current charge status of the unit itself. It's slimline body allows it to be stored either is a bag or suit jacket without adding unnecessary bulk or being otherwise obvious in terms of visibility. The two inbuilt charging leads can offer some limitations of use for other devices which takes the units back to a four star overall rating otherwise this would have been a definite five start review. The long term capacity of the unit has yet to be established as this is where some other products can sometimes fail but if build quality and the level of other design can be used as a guide then the unit should be able to provide a long term solution to mobile charging.

This is a video review of the Iceworks 5000mah dual inbuilt cable portable charger. Now I'm sure like most of people who are watching this video review you will have tried many different portable chargers over the last few years - the cylinder shaped chargers which are advertised as "lipstick sized" - although the reality is that they are much larger than a lipstick when you receive it and that requires you to purchase a separate lightning connector cable, or some of the larger chargers which feel like you are carrying a 1980's mobile phone from Cellnet, rather than a portable phone charger! The reality with those is that although they hold a good amount of charge, they are just too bulky for a day out. Recently I had purchased a lipstick type charger & tried it out with a really short length lightning cable that you can purchase on Amazon. What I found was that although the small cable was more convenient & fitted in my jeans pockets without too much hassle, I found that the cable would get bent in my pocket, so over time the wires inside the cable would actually break. Now i actually got through about 6 of these short cables in about the same number of months - had tried different brands, normal type of rubber coated cables, flat cables and braided ones, but all would stop working over time. Just glad I have an amazon account & their returns policy is second to none. Anyway, I came across a PC Magazine review of the top iPhone portable phone chargers & the Iceworks came top so decided to order. And now that Ive owned one for the past 3 months, i can see why. What sets this portable charger apart from the competition are 3 key features for me. The first is the size. As you can see, this charger is incredibly well designed in terms of size & weight, weight being 259 grammes and size is 13 x 0.8 x 6.5 cm so you can see how flat it is - and it fits really well inside my jeans pocket, or suit jacket pocket, so its great for a night out when I'm running out of battery & i want to send my wife a drunken "I love you so much" text - or to ask her is she can pick me up from the pub! The second & for me this is the absolute killer feature that wipes the floor with all the competition, is that it has 2, yes 2 integrated charging cables - one with a micro USB connection (which I know other portable chargers have got, but what they don't have and what the Iceworks one does is that it also has a lightning connector cable integrated into the charger as well. I've tried other portable chargers that have the micro usb charging cable and they then provide you with a lightning dongle that fits on top of the micro usb cable, but they are really unreliable and over time they stop working. I have also misplaced one which is easy to do considering how small they are and its another thing you have to carry around with you. Which is why the Iceworks portable charger is so much better, because everything you need is integrated - so there is no risk of you forgetting the cable, or forgetting the lightning dongle. As you can see these cables are so well integrated into the charger, they have clearly put a lot of thought into the design & I've got to say its probably one of the best iPhone accessories I have owned, if not the best. The 3rd feature that is really good is when you press the button to start charging, it displays how much charge is left in the pack. 4 lights lit, means fully charged, 2 lights means 50% remaining. Fully charged is 5000mah, now I know because I looked it up before posting this review that the iPhone 6s has a capacity of 1715mah, so at best you should get almost 3 additional charges out of this power pack. My experience is that you definitely get 2 full charges for your iPhone 6s out of this pack & I have never been away from home or a hotel room long enough to have to want to recharge my iPhone more than twice. So in summary, I have been using this charger for 3 months. Aside from my 10,000 mah brick that I own that I use for camping, this has replaced all other chargers I have owned. Its so small, light and thin, that it fits nicely in my jeans pocket, so great for a day out without having to worry about my phone battery running out. The lightning and micro usb cables are integrated into the charger, so its a nice tidy solution that means I wont forget that all so important cable (cos I've done that before with other chargers and there is nothing more frustrating!) and I really like the indicator showing me how much charge is left This charger gets 5 stars from me & definitely the best portable charger I have owned.

Lightweight charger, looks great and no wires needed to charge phone. However, no good if you are looking for a back up charger as despite being fully charged and not using my phone whilst it is being charged, I can only get one full charge out of it. Disappointed. UPDATE - Excellent customer service. I have been sent a replacement. Charging now and will update review. Hopefully first one was a faulty one.

Having looked at a lot of products, I bought 2 of these, one for my son, one for myself. The price is very reasonable. I like the fact you don't have a separate cable and the in-built one is not so long that it's hanging down in the way. Carrying it around behind my iPhone 5 (My son has the iPhone 6 and works just as well) is easy and nice to hold (Not to heavy, thick or wide). My husband who already has a Powerocks 9000maH power pack prefers ours because of the lightness and it being so thin. It doesn't take very long to power the item from flat, very easy to use. The power wires from the device are flexible and seem sturdy enough that I am not worried about them snapping while in use walking about. You do get a power lead provided to charge it with, the same plug as your iPhone. I would highly recommend this product.

Bought two of these units, the first performed brilliantly, for its size, giving that much needed boost to phone or pad, however a second unit purchased failed to live up to the same standard. The unit would get extremely hot during use, and often discharge without putting much of a charge into the phone/pad. It also appeared to have a faulty micro USB connector, refusing to connect to a G3 or S7. After an initial delay caused by emails being lost, Iceworks via the Amazon messaging system responded swiftly and professionally. Offering both a refund and a replacement unit, so this is the second review, in a positive light, for a small company they have provided first class service, and a first class product. For those who have had issues, take the time and effort to communicate with them, and remember, this unit is sized a similar capacity to many items you may be intending to charge, don't expect miracles people! Just for the record, they refunded me immediately then offered a replacement as well, I used the refund to buy another unit, be fair and honest.
