Q: Is this product edible? If not why not?

No, NOT edible! It has acrylites in it, which are PLASTIC polymers. I stopped using it because of this, enough plastic pollutants as is.

Q: This is different packaging from the last aloe Vera I purchased from this range and seems runnier, is it definitely the same product as before?

They have diluted it with acid which made my skin get an invasive red rash, look at my review, don’t apply to your face

Q: Is this gel suitable for your hair?

I tried this in my hair and it left slight visible residue. I would not recommend this for hair as a leave in product. All natural aloe with no other ingredients would be better. If your using this gel as a treatment/ conditioner to be washed out it should be ok, as a leave in no. This aloe gel is excellent for skin. I swear by it I have been using this for years as a night mask before bed. rub a generous amount on my face let it dry. It has kept my skin looking young and stopped wrinkles.
