Great lipstick been using for years

It is not particularly helpful, IMO, that all the lip colours are currently lumped together under one stock code, as some shades are more vibrant & slightly longer lasting than others, in my experience. Rimmel London, Lasting Finish Lipstick: Shades 084 & 500 ooOoo Generally comfortable with the price, I have used RIMMEL lipsticks for years, usually favouring the same colours & despairing if one gets discontinued! I like the chunky shape of this range, knowing them to be durable and that the stick is unlikely to break or splinter in use like some slimmer ones I have had in the past, from other brands. I also like the smooth, creamy consistency that doesn’t dry the lips out & I don’t mind the ‘flavour’. I find that the colour easily transfers to e.g. cups & glasses, so I have to touch up during the day, but that is usual with most brands of lippy & me! ooOoo COLOUR: 084 ~ ‘AMETHYST SHIMMER’ (AMAZON VERIFIED PURCHASE) An old favourite this, a shimmery lilac-pink that picks up the colour from my yesteryear candy-striped blouse in spring/summer & my pink polo neck in the colder months. COLOUR: 500 ~ ’RED-Y?’ (VINE supplied product) This is new shade for me ~ a touch more ambitious and, if I am honest, a bit of a gamble online. I would usually check a colour out on the High Street first! Longer lasting than some on, it looks more of a BROWN tone in the container but is, on me, a pleasant BERRY-RED shade that is hard to describe but close to that on the label of the lipstick container base (images below refer). ooOoo ✤ RIMMEL ✤ LASTING FINISH ✤ LIPSTICK ✤ 4 g ‘Made in England’ ooOoo The lipstick container is around 7.5 cm tall with the lid on. The lid has a slight angle on one side, embossed with the RIMMEL logo. The diameter of the quality pull-open case is around 1.5 cm and it pushes shut with a satisfactory click. The colour number & name is loud & clear on the base label. ‘RIMMEL LONDON’ is embossed on the SILVER-coloured band around the middle. The shaped lipstick is just short of 2.5 cm in length fully extended, so should last a fair while. [13 images attached]

The lipstick looks perfect but the seal was broken and I’m wary of using it now.

My favourite colour. Worn this for years. So relieved it wasn't discontinued.

This was purchased for my daughter for Christmas. She particularly liked the colour and how it lasts on the lips for at least 8 hours. It is very good when you are eating and even having a drink, none of the lipstick wears off the lips on to your cup or mug.

Love the colour, texture creamy but it doesn’t remain on for long

My favorite color lipstick! Very flattering. I don't care for the stain type of lipstick that is still there the next day even after washing your face. This is traditional lipstick so it does come off on your glass or straw. I was so happy to be able to find it since my last one was just about done. Good quality and keeps my lips soft. 💋
