Got my car through one last MOT
This type of product is for people that have an old car that isn't worth pouring money into. My car almost got scrapped after its last MOT due to a catalytic converter exhaust leak, and cats are very expensive. Thankfully, this product did the trick and plugged the hole, allowing it to pass. Be careful though as it's fairly liquid and you'll need to be careful applying it. After it dried, I also covered it in a lot of gun gum to help it hold a bit better. Also note that this is by no means a permanent repair - the car will need a new catalytic converter at some point.... but not today. Excellent for a temporary quick fix... but your old car will get scrapped one day anyways!

Only tiny holes
Very good, but for very small holes as described

Didn't work for my project
I needed to repair the back of my oven. The screws that held the fan cover in place had fallen out as the holes had rusted. This seemed the ideal thing to do the job but I am afraid it just didn't work for this particular project. It did harden up but just fell out when I tried to drill through it and hadn't really adhered to anything.I think this is probably best when used thickly, more as a gap filler than to create a workable surface.

Great stuff!
I managed to shear the heads off the 2 bolts holding the EGR inlet pipe to the exhaust manifold on my Land Rover Disco when fitting a blanking kit. Managed to drill the upper bolt out and put an M6x35 bolt coated with some of this paste through with a nut on tight on the back but could not get a drill bit on to the lower one or get behind it.Used regular exhaust assembly paste between the plate and the manifold as a basic gasket and a small bead as far round as I could, let that set then piled on a generous amount of this paste to get it air tight and well sealed. That was 6 weeks ago and I have been checking it regularly and nothing has moved or cracked what so ever.Very happy that it saved me from pulling the manifold and having to drill and tap 2 new holes which would of been a pain & long job. It does give you a pretty good almost cold weld. This paste is seriously tough and sets like metal and is withstanding 600 degrees plus easily along with preventing any movement of the plate.Am very impressed and will no doubt find more uses for the rest of it now I know it is strong and withstands a lot of heat and vibration. It is far far superior to it's lower temp resistant J.B. Weld high heat paste and of course loads better than standard fire putty or exhaust paste which cracks easily with vibration and becomes quite brittle towards the top of its temp range.

This is a use immediately upon opening.
Once the foil seal is broken on the non resealable container; the curing process starts. You have no more than 40 to 50 mins to apply the product before it goes hard.Positives: Used to lock exhaust manifold studs into place and it worked. Applied to the threads, inserted & bolted down.Negative: I am throwing 80% of it away = an expensive remedy.

Surprisingly brilliant!!
Although I only had a very small contact point between the two points this metallic glue stuck extremely well even under stress both from the curve in the grill & the weight. Very impressed

Good product.
Found a small hole in my exhaust, and an MOT a week later! Funds were tight, so tried this as a quick repair to tide me over until funds available to replace the exhaust - Did the job well, and got me through until I could afford to replace. Well worth the money.
