James Read H2O Gradual Self Tanning Spray Tan for the Face, Light to Medium Tone, 100ml

I like this product. I use it after cleansing with micellar water. Spray it onto a cotton wool pad and wipe on face and neck and after 2 applications you get a very natural and even glow on the face. Have also applied on legs as this is one of few products with a smell I Cs tolerate. It can look slightly patchy unless carefully applied, here. But good value, lasts well.

I have used this particular self tan product for a while. It is effective giving a golden glow to the skin. It is hydrating & easy to use, remember to close your eyes when spraying your face. Easy to spray on backs of the hands. I have sensitive skin but have no issues with this product. It does not have an unpleasant after smell on the skin. Good value for money, it lasts a long time. I will continue to buy this product,

I had the same impression that it was not working after two weeks, so much so that I rang James Read to complain. The customer relations lady had the batch tested and could not find anything wrong with it. I told her I would persist with it but did not hold out much hope! However, the very next day, a friend said I was looking well with some colour on my face. Since then two further people have commented.that I was looking tanned but then it does look natural. I started to use it twice a day but now only once as I feel it looks ok. I am just going to order another one, I hope this helps.

Fantastic product. Easy to use. Great colour. Works quickly. No need to massage in, spray & go. Obviously make sure any moisturiser that you use isn’t mineral based or other ingredients that will block absorption. Highly recommended. The only negative I would add and this is nothing to do with the product, is the manner of the people that work for James Read Tan. I contacted customer services with a query and was made to feel like an idiot, it might have been a simple question but that is no reason to be abrupt and worse, unfriendly. Be nice to customers, they’re your income stream.

I have fairly pale skin especially in winter, this gives me a healthy glow without ending up looking ridiculous over time. I spray it on face and neck just a few times per week before bed and that’s enough. It does build up if you use it every day and will go darker, but I don’t think it’s strong enough or designed to give you a full on tan. I’ve never had problems with tan lines or patches etc though I imagine if you cover yourself in it then it could go very wrong so use as instructed! I like the fact that if doesn’t smell of fake tan, thanks to the rose water and I can safely put it on before bed without worrying about it going on the sheets or having to smell the horrible biscuit smell you get with other fake tans. I’m also a man which is somewhat relevant as this is the only tanning product I’ve used that doesn’t end up tinging my beard orange over time! 10 out of 10 from me!

I had high hopes for this exapesive tanner after reading all the reviews on here plus having it recommended via different web searches but after 1 use I am left feeling disappointed. It was easy enough to apply but as I had my eyes shut (for obvious reasons) I was unaware of the amount of product going onto my face so after I had sprayed all areas I ended up with a very wet neck and only my slightly damp face, left it to dry and went about my day looked nice to start with but as the night went in it got darker and darker not the light subtle look I was going for, it looked as if I had been on a round trip to the sun way too dark for my taste and it was clear that the neck was a few shades darker than my face which made it look fake, it also seemed to collect in the facial hair causing a slight bit of patchiness. Anyway I scrubbed as much as I could to try and lighten my skin again but the next morning after several washes it looks just as dark as before only this time the face has faded a bit but the neck area seems more of an orange colour today making me look very patchy. So a word of warning be very careful how much you spray on to start with it’s a lot lot darker than you may think. Will prob go back to using my face lux tanning drops as this gave a much more subtle tint without the patchy appearance.

I absulutely recommend this product. Having used facial fake tans for 20 years I have experienced orange tones, patches around dry areas/eye brows etc from various products. As this is a gradual tanner you need to use it regularly ( as in every or every other day) and it will give you a base colour that will neither leave you too brown or pastey white after you have to exfoliate the 'old' tan away. Being a brunette with medium skin it helps me maintain a slight tan that is realistic in the winter months that I can deepen with makeup should I wish. No streaks or need to blend or buff, it is a great primer before makeup and has never run down my face, only needing a few instants to dry. I am no longer looking for another facial self tan.

This is a fantastic product. Everyone always comments on how natural my tan looks. I have fair skin and use it every single night as part of my evening skincare regime (I lay off it for a night or two when my tan gets deep). You just hold it away at almost arms length then spray evenly over the places you want to tan. I also use it on my arms even though it says it's only for the face. When I do that I rub my arms together to get a more even look. Seems to work fine. I've moved onto the men's version of this now, but it's more or less the same only with a different smell. A few people have asked me what I use and I have recommended this product.

Je l’adore!!! Il fait un beau teint légèrement hâlé qui fait super naturel. Il ne fait aucune trace. Personnellement je l’applique au pinceau pour que ce soit homogène.

Hab es mir schon zum dritten Mal gekauft, ist einfach nur super. Gibt einen super schönen gesunden taint und man sieht so aus als käme man frisch vom Strand.

Me encanta que sea un spray. Fácil de aplicar siguiendo las instrucciones. Sin necesidad de guantes, ni nada. Rápido y resultado homogéneo.

I have been using this product for more than five years and I love it! Just a few spritzes on clean skin or over make up gives a natural golden glow to your skin. Recently I had a concern about a bottle I ordered — I think the cold weather affected the liquid during shipping. I contacted the company and they took care of it right away. I simply returned my bottle to them and received e new one within a few days. I would highly recommend this product and seller.
