I purchased theses brooch pin fasteners so I could put on back of my hand knitted poppies…Very impressive with the quality of these fasteners, great value and excellent quality…

I have been making brooches for many years and usually use 3-hole brooch backs. But, these 2-hole backed pins are okay - for my brooches. They are just the right size and so far have done the job adequately. They are a little bit blunt (depends what you are pinning them into) but that's the customers niggle. I make tiny brooches and these pins are a perfect size with a slight spring so they don't appear to come undone. I recommend for inexpensive brooch making. Really good value for money.

Great value for money, but you do get for what you pay for. You should expect about 5% of the fasteners to be - I wouldn't say defective - but slightly less than perfect. These either have loose fasteners which don't clip very well, or have backings which are slightly bent concave/convex (which was a slight issue, given that I was gluing these to a flat surface). Other than these outliers, the rest perform as expected.As i needed these fasteners to fit exactly onto a narrow surface, hopefully these accurate dimensions will help some of you:Length: 25mm. One end begins to taper 5mm towards the spring, the other is the full-widthWidth: 5mm. Tapered end width: 2mm at spring.Height: 6mm at clasp, 4.5mm at springHole diameters: 2.5mm, 8mm apart centre-to-centre.

I’ve bought one box of these originally and used them to glue on to the back of wooden badges I was making, they were perfect and good value for money. I was asked to crochet small butterflies to raise money for a ‘Gone to Soon’ charity so I bought another two boxes and they were great to sew on to the little butterflies so they could be used as broaches/pin badges. I’m really pleased with them and will definitely buy more for knitted poppies later in the year, thanks.

These were ideal for my crafts, made woollen flow brooches and they were perfect for my needs. I have used the majority of them and so far have not come across any that are unusable. I will be re-ordering as I am making some more brooches for a craft fayre.

Quite a few were bent, one or two pins had no point so wouldn't go through material. They did the job I needed but next time I'd buy better ones. Used them for fabric brooches.

Good value

A good cheap set of brooch backs with reasonable quality for the low price. They come in a useful clear box which did indeed contain 100 pieces. A few of mine came ever so slightly bent, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by gently pressing them back into shape. I also found a broken pin piece which was not from any of the brooch backs I had counted out, so while all 100 of mine are usable you still may need to be careful of stray sharps.They aren't the sharpest pins, and a few looked slightly discoloured where the pin met the loop of the fastening, but can't complain too much for the price!

No issues, work well. Not much you can say... I recommend a glue gun or crazy glue to secure to whatever you are using them for.
