I have used this numerous times in the past few weeks with great results for my thick, wavy, silver, shoulder length hair. When I use a conventional blow dryer my hair style turn out very full and frizzy. I apply a few drops of Olaplex Bonding Oil along with a little Moroccan Oil Smoothing Lotion to protect my hair from the heat. I let my hair mostly dry and use this wonderful brush blow dryer to add style, calming down the hair. It has really helped straightening my hair with less frizz. I find this easy to handle because it is shorter and lighter than other brush blow dryers. I also found that it didn't get extremely hot which I was concerned about with silver hair. The travel case which was so handy for a recent trip. The clips, which work well and cleaning tool are nice extras. I did a lot of research before purchasing this and found just what I was looking for with my type of hair.

Love this dryer brush. Not a spin type. Just the right size for my med bob. Gives my hair a wave yet sleek look vs my much larger dryer brush. My goal was to buy a 1 1/2” that has “both types of bristles” so not to tangle my hair. Also gives my fine and thinning hair bounce & body. Will be great for my upcoming travel. Love the case too.

I used my daughter’s built in brush hair dryer and hers is from a different brand (dri-bar) and I love the ease of using a hair dryer with a built in brush. This brand was a very good value although initially I didn’t love it because I felt that the air was lacking but with continued use I noticed that the air does warm up considerably and the brush didn’t feel as hard, with the heat it softened somewhat. The barrel is a perfect diameter for the length of my hair which is shoulder length. It’s a perfectly round brush and many of these built in hair brush dryers are not perfectly round so that’s a plus. And the instrument is a perfect fit for my hands which is unusual because they tend to be much thicker which is an awkward hold for me. Overall I’d say that this is an excellent value for the price. It came with some clips that I haven’t used and a warranty card.

Bought this for travel and i did not expect to fall in love. It's much smaller, lighter and easier on my fine fragile hair than my full size much more expensive one. I was uncertain about the oval shape vs. a round brush like I'm used to, but it actually styles my long hair and bangs a lot better. The bristles are a hard plastic with a few softer ones for grip i guess and the are very gentle on the hair. I love the 3 temperature settings and the 2 air speed settings as well. Great if your hair is thicker in the back vs the front like me.Lastly, the smaller size means its a lot easier to use if you have smallish lady hands. Love the pretty travel case and the little brush/pick for cleaning and that it came with matching alligator clips. It's already replaced my bigger one.

Bought this specifically for the size because I'm trying to pack lighter, carryon luggage only for numerous trips I take each year. This will allow me to leave my larger Revlon dryer brush at home. Does this one succeed toward that goal? Yes.Pros: smaller and lighter and has a nice zip travel case, easier to pack and not smush the brushCons: Mine seems to have the Low/Med/High settings screwed up -- the Low acts the same as High and Medium is Low, so I guess i don't have a true Med setting. I could send it back but i need it for a trip coming up soon and feel it's not worth the bother. But an indication their consistency may be wonky. Also, I find the bristles of the brush pull on my fine hair more so than the Revlon so I would not want to use it on a regular basis -- beyond my travel days.Be VERY aware this dryer can not be used for international travel due to the wattage difference and can not be used with a traditional converter. I knew this going in so it's not something I will bring on travels outside the US. The manufacturer does stress this limitation, too, which i appreciated knowing upfront.

I am loving this product. Easy to use and the results are great.
