Love these headphones!
This is my second pair of AIAIAI Tracks. My previous pair lasted for nearly six years before they died. I continue to love them. I have moderate hearing loss which means I have to have the volume up loud to hear things through headphones and these cope beautifully. There is minimal sound overspill so I don't disturb my household too much. They're comfortable and lightweight so I can wear them for hours without getting sore ears. The microphone is an excellent added bonus when I'm using them with my mobile.

AIAIAI - what did you do?
This is my third pair of these headphones, not because they break - I absolutely love them as they are light enough to wear all day at work, they can be used with the phone on my mac and the sound quality is awesome - or at least that is what I had been thinking. BUT this third pair that I have got have come in much cheaper packaging (previously there was a really nice presentation box - this one looks the same from the outside but is not as nice at all, the previous box had that great quality of purchase confirmation - opening was a good experience - a bit like opening an Apple product), they are a slightly different shape and have no volume control like they used to (it looks like the pics on the AIAIAI website are more up to date than the ones on Amazon at the time of writing), there is also no bag this time, the bag used to come with the previous version of these headphones. But absolutely the worst thing is that for me they don't sound as good. They are OK, they are quite good but the sound is not nearly as rich (using the - admittedly unscientific - Rappers Delight comparison test - for the uninitiated, thats where you listen with one set then the other to the intro of Rappers Delight by the Sugar Hill Gang). This looks like the sad demise of a really good set of headphones, it looks like AIAIAI have discounted the price to sell more and then looked at where money could be saved. It's unfortunate because it wasn't about the money.AIAIAI - wtfwtfwtf?

Very disappointed for price
Got these for £50 after reading great reviews on how highs and lows sound and be willing to put the extra cash for design. Don't do it. Style is great but quality of the sound very poor for what it costs. Bass are there yeah but flat and highs get saturated so quickly I couldn't listen to some of my favourite songs. I like to listen to music quite loud too. Those are for the style of it definitely not for sound. I went back to good old SONY MDR-ZX300 model that a friend of mine uses and I could compare right there with the AIAIAI. Those sony are half price and MUCH BETTER SOUND QUALITY. If u don't want to go too pricey I'd recommend Sony.

Mixed feelings
There is no use in denying that these headphones are a top-class product; materials and overall built quality are just great. Nevertheless, they are only compatible with Apple's products and, sometimes, the dedicated buttons are too hard to press more than once (particularly frustrating if you are trying to rewind or fast-forwarding a song). In addition, sound quality is a bit of a mix up, that is, these headphones offer great mids and highs, but bass is quite ordinary. Another issue to take into account before buying the AiAiAi Tracks is the durability of their headband as well as that of the rubber anchorages included for the earbuds. These parts certainly wear out through time and, for the price you are paying, these are important problems. Having said that, and if you are seeking something good for a fair price (and you own an Apple product) the AiAiAi Tracks is just your deal!

They get 2 stars because the design looks sweet and the sound is as advertised
I've purchased (rather foolishly) 2 pairs of AIAIAI tracks, and I received 1 replacement pair through their warrantee program. All three pairs have broken. It's always the same issue: the cable wears with natural movements at the device connection and inevitably one speaker stops working, followed soon by the other. To my view, this is clearly a design flaw. It doesn't matter to me anymore that they're inexpensive. Also, you really need to crank the volume on public transit, then the sound bleeds moderately. There's no noise cancellation whatsoever. They get 2 stars because the design looks sweet and the sound is as advertised. I should maybe give them 3 stars but I won't because now I'm bitter.

But love them until they do
They break after a while. But love them until they do.

Sound good. Constantly detaching ear clips are annoying.
They look very 1970s rollerskating 'wired for sound' with a retro styling from the first Sony Walkmans. The sound is good though has limited sound insulation. I find the clips that attach the ear pieces to the headset really annoying. They detach really easily in your bag, being knocked or light pressure, and are fiddly to reattach and very easy to lose. I'm not sure it is strictly a design flaw, as it probably protects the headset attachment from breaking -- it doesn't stop it from being annoying very time you have to reattachment them as they need specific alignment and pressure.
