Typical Keter quality
Easy to assemble, nice and big, well built.Important to note, that in all plastic self-build furniture, need extra attention when assembling. Whilst any wooden furniture is 'screwed' together, this is 'clicked into place'. Difference being, that whilst screws can be removed and reinserted correctly, these click strongly into place and if you try to undo it - example if you inserted it wrongly, you might easily end up braking it entirely. Therefore, although it's a very strong and fairly easy way to build furniture, you should double and triple check every tiny detail before doing that 'click'.One minus of this is that (like other plastic outdoor cupboards) the whole for the lock is very small and 'hidden' so I had to buy a thin flexible padlock for it.As for the waterproof rating, it has to be noted that all outdoor cupboards are NOT meant to be directly outdoors without any shelter. It is very well structured so water cannot penetrate, yet I doubt anything the likes would stand strong against heavy direct downpours etc.

Sturdy enough for most uses - and at this price point
OK, so I've assembled a fair few of these click-to-fit units and these Keter examples are pretty much standard affairs. Addressing a few of the negative comments, it's important to note the following;1) They are boxed up and arrive like giant 'Airfix kits' - which can (and do) occasionally get damaged in transit. ALWAYS CHECK THE LARGER PANELS FOR SPLITS/CRACKS WHEN UNBOXING (I advise thoroughly checking the corners, too). Always do this BEFORE you 'pop-out' the smaller parts. This gives you a fighting chance of reporting the damage and sending the item back for replacement/refund. Once you start assembling these there's virtually no chance you can disassemble to return. Sorry.2) Study the instructions CAREFULLY. Lay-out each numbered section required for each step of the build. These units are a doddle to make up providing you can follow the simple pictoral steps methodically. I can't understand how some people struggle assembling these? It really is as simple as 'push A1 into A2' - or 'bend A3 and push into A4 until it clicks' - you really don't need an Engineering Degree - just patience and a little common sense!3) They are rigid plastic. They are never going to have the strength or integrity of a high-end steel storage cabinet. That's why they are about a third of the price - however they are sturdy enough for most storage uses once built.4)The shelves, although plastic, are surprisingly solid (the claimed 30kg spread load seems feasible). Shelf height options are plentiful and easy to change.5) The back (which just 'slots in') is NOT corrugated cardboard as many are sugesting. It is a corrugated plastic/vinyl. It is 100% waterproof - although it is pretty flimsy in appearance.5) I've used these numerous times in sheds / garages / outbuildings with no issues whatsoever - but I would NOT recommend them for exposed outdoor use here in the UK. The units themselves would likely be fine (100% plastic, except for a handful of steel screws), however due to the various gaps in their design, I would not trust them to be watertight (no matter what others have said)There - I hope that helps?I actually really like them - but it is important to check for damage thoroughly before you START to construct them (I've enclosed a photo of a 'split' panel as an example).

Cheap plastic, over priced and dangerous
The plastic parts were many (like cheap toy soldier parts) and tricky to pull apart. The red parts for pushing into each corner of the shelves were difficult and broke my nails on each thumb - I don't have particularly long nails either. One of the parts whilst clicking into place caught my arm. Snapping parts in sometimes difficult because some parts were lining up properly or just stiff. Took about 1 hour to fit together all the pieces and left in the garden overnight for completion next day. Put garden tools in to hold down before screwing into fence in the morning, but it fell over during the night with the wind, was broken up to pieces in the morning. Not good for outside - probably only good for garage or inside. Water resistant, hmmm - has a flimsy, plastic covered cardboardy like back. The smaller matching version of this is just as bad but didn't fall over in the wind. Will have to replace that too as it won't last the winter. A waste of money.

They are good, but break easily
I like these as they suit the needs wonderfully, the only thing i would advise, they are brittle, some parts on mine were broken on arrival, and i broke more during assembly.I just had to improvise a little bit and make it work and they function fine.just dont expect perfection and you will be good. they do hold a fair bit of weight happily too.

Great customer service
Patio storage. It's more watertight than previous keter plastic storage cupboards due to roof overhang and more tightly fitting back panel.

A good item if it's used in a covered space. It's not made to stand directly in the rain - my opinion.
If this is a good or a bad product, depends where and what for you want to use it. It is very good if you'll have it outside, in a covered place, but not directly in the rain, no way! It's not totally rainproof. It has small spaces between the doors, between the doors and the walls, between the walls and the base, etc, and more than this, the back side panel is cardboard. Painted with something, but a cardboard. It's not a solid cupboard, all the materials are soft and thin. If you're not careful it breaks at mounting operations. I didn't but I saw how easy they can break.I wanted to put it somewhere in an open space but I do not dare, after I saw how it's made. I asked on site before if it is totally and sure rainproof and I didn't receive a clear answer. This is why I bought but definitely it was better to make myself a wooden one. For these thin plastic and cardboard materials it's too expensive. The mounting operations took me about 2 hours. If you have all the pieces in order, it's very easy to make it.Maybe if you will protect it on the back side and all joints with a kind of rubber paint, a sealant paint or something similar, it can be used in an open space but anyway I think rain will get inside between the doors.
