Ibanez Gio GSA60-WNF Walnut Flat - Electric Guitar

As a first time guitar buyer, I wasn't sure which to go for. I first read through some reviews and I was always a fan of Fender as a brand. However the only guitar I found reasonable was to be the fender squire mustang. at the same time I ordered the ibanez which wasn't much more expensive for my brother. As soon as the ibanez came after the squire , I couldn't stop playing with the ibanez. The strings were good out of the box , great action which made it really easy to hold down the chords and play them. The neck and fretboard was much more smoother and comfortable to hold. The fret was a bit more longer than the squire but it felt much more comfortable. the tone of this was really clear and clean, it actually sounded much more. The finish was good and clear. The pickups have a good distance between them so it has a cleaner sound. Once you change the pickup settings you can even get a more heavy metal sound . The knobs aren't placed directly under my usual strumming area so it makes it much easier to strum and hold. I loved the color of this guitar , finger prints aren't very visble. I was actually surprised with the overall finishing and sound of the guitar . It really seemed like a professional guitar at a beginner's price. I ended up liking this so much that I bought two of them and returned my fender squire Mustang.

I bought this guitar from Amazon Resale so my expectations were not as high as they would have been if i had bought the guitar new, although it was described as being in "Very Good" condition, Out of the box this guitar was not playable, it had a number of raised frets, the pick ups were so high that they were touching the strings and the bridge wasn''t floating at all it was hard back on the body, This isn't a problem for me as i bought the guitar at a considerebly discounted price and i am used to doing guitar set ups and have the tools to do it, After a few hours work the guitar was set up and playing perfectly, So i have given this guitar a five star review because these are very nice instruments for the price and for the price i paid i expected to be buying some work but even so i am delighted with my purchase, Excellent guitars but do make sure that the guitar plays properly when you get it because every so often bad ones do appear.

Timely delivery. I love the look of this guitar and everything about it is top class. Satin back neck, well finished frets, lovely low action and brilliant rocking pickups. I'm not a professional player but decades long home player who has finally put on a few public performances and I thoroughly recommend this beautiful guitar especially if you still consider yourself a learner of whatever level of ability as this instrument will certainly enhance your learning and playing.

Arrived in perfect condition. I've been playing for 20 years, and can confidently recommend this baby. For beginners right up to more advanced, for the price you won't find better. The build quality for the price is top notch. Tone wise....wow. It's so versatile..from hard rock to clean and crisp sounds, it's unbeatable. Add a decent amp with effects and you have the whole spectrum of music to play with. The fret dress is perfect...so easy to play at the bottom or top. The pick ups are quality for the price. You can really hear the different nuances between the switch. Might need the tress lowering depending on your style, but truss key included. I've owned and lost (sob) many guitars in my time. So i'll say it again.......just get one. :)

Lovely guitar so well made worth the money twice over

I bought this on a whim and then tried to cancel the order however it still turned ,so I thought oh what the heck and opened the box ,I tend to go for SGs and Les Paul's bit on opening the box saw what an absolutely beautiful guitar the sunburst is, it's instantly playable ,you just need to attach the tremolo and off you go ,lovely neck size for smaller hands and lovely smooth frets ,strings are smooth and although they feel "loose" are perfectly intune you can easily bend the strings to get that emotive feel to the note without ripping your finger to shreds ,it's a great guitar that is value for money ,I would say its comparable to the lower end of an Epiphone if not ,if I think about it slightly better and that ìs something as I have a stack of Epi SGs It sits comfortable when seated and when standing has good balance ,it's not neck heavy and the whole guitar feels relatively lightweight ,a lot lighter than the shoulder/ back killing machine that is the Les Paul .

Great guitar but needed a lot of work. The first thing I noticed was the trem springs in the back of the guitar were all corroded. I'm guessing this was from dampness in storage. Not a huge problem as a couple of quid will get you a new set. However, when I plugged the guitar in I noticed that the neck pickup wasn't producing any signal whatsoever. After spending some time probing around with a multimeter I discovered that it was a bad connection on the pickup. I re-soldered the connection and this seemed to solve the problem. The soldering itself looked ok but again I'm guessing it was down to storage conditions. The frets also felt very rough (especially when bending strings) so I gave them a quick sand and polish which fixed this. The strings were all bent where they had been pressed on the pickups in storage (Can be expected to be honest). After giving the guitar a full setup I found that the action was still ridiculously high so I had to sand the nut down a fair bit. In the end I managed to get a good setup and would recommend the guitar but be prepared to put some work in. Hope this helps.

Mi primera guitarra eléctrica y tiene el puente qué le llaman Floyd un poco complicado para la entonación el mástil es muy confortable para hacer acordes y demás el sonido es muy bueno a mí me gusta es muy bonita yo no soy un experto en guitarra si eso le vale alguno que quiera comprarla yo en mi humilde opinión la volvería a comprar

L'aspetto estetico è veramente notevole ed è rifinita benissimo. Una vera opera d'arte a un costo assolutamente competitivo. Quanto al suono di questa chitarra è estremamente stupefacente e del tutto inatteso. Sa essere cattiva al punto giusto anche per suonare i pezzi più spinti. Stupisce anche la sua leggerezza. imballaggio perfetto e consegna velocissima. Molto consigliata anche per chi non è alle prime armi con questo strumento.
