Perfect for rug/mat. This non slip underlay works perfectly. I've purchased this item twice now, for different rugs. It can also easily be cut, into smaller sizes to suit and in fact this purchase was used for 3 small rugs!! Great value and it works. I've also used 2 whole ones of these, under a large rug too (160 × 230) and then just put a small piece of double sided carpet tape, in each corner. The rug doesn't move at all, which I just what I wanted. Obviously, you don't have to add tape under corners, but we have young Grandchildren running round and didn't want them pulling it about. Highly recommended product.......

Does the Job and does not slip. Stick the the rug and floor.

Before buying the underlay, I dutifully read all the reviews, and it was 50/50, but the price had been reduced and I needed an odd shape which I obviously needed to cut myself, so I crossed my fingers and went ahead with the purchase. When it arrived and I'd cut the shape I needed, I was disappointed to find that it was the negative 50 who'd won. The rug slipped and slid on the laminate floor. But I noticed that the underlay adhered well to the underside of the rug. So, not wanting to have wasted my money, I turned it over and it worked!! It doesn't slip at all! Evidently the one side of the underlay is "stickier" than the other and there's a 50/50 chance of laying it correctly the first time down. To all those reviewers who gave the underlay less than five stars, try turning it over :)

Seems to stick to the carpet but the rug on top still moves, going to try sticking it to the underside of the rug with some rubber glue.

We bought this to keep a small rug from moving around on a hard wood floor. It works beautifully. We had tried a different underlay before getting this one. It did nothing. I was doubtful based on the reviews, but this one is actually very good and excellent value for money.

Found this to be useless with a rubber-backed doormat on a laminate floor. It sticks to the rubber but not to the floor. It might as well not be there at all for all the good it does.

These do exactly as expected. Very good value; and a lovely email from the company, upon order, giving the name of a person to contact, if I wasn't satisfied.

for the price and size it wa sokay, but this is not rubbery enough at all to keep a rug in place. I have a nice heacy rug on matte floor tiles, and also another on a laminated floor. it is preventing a bit of slip but no wear as near as I expect it too. I would say you are better off with double-tape - but likely to leave sticky substance on floor
