K&F Concept 112mm Circular Polarizers Filters, HD CPL Polarizing Filter 28-Layer MRC Coating Compatible with Nikon Z 14-24mm f2.8S lens (Nano-X Series)

Ok so this is a great circular polarising filter...I bought the 67mm lens version for my Panasonic S lenses and it works very well. The glass looks good and the ring is made of metal. The inner part of the ring has the thread you connect to the lens and the outer part of the ring moves independently to adjust the effectivness of the filter.Plus it comes with plastic cirular case to keep it safe when not in use.If you look at the two photos, you can see the reflections on the floor have mainly disapeared, the reflectionon the base of the chrome stand has also been reduced. Overall picture has a more blanced look and I could not see any major degradation of sharpness in image. As with most polarisers you lose some of the light entering the camera, so I did have to reduce the speed by around 3 stops with the filter ring turned to it's fullest effect.For many pictures with water, glass and shinny surfaces, it will help to pull out the details that would otherwise be covered by refllections, plus in the picture i've taken the filter seem to push the color contrast up as well.Now the for the 2 Elephants.1: Many people say the filter rings gets stuck on their lenses...Now this can happen to nearly ALL screw on filters. However it's not because they are made badly (well .. most of them anyway) Most of the time this happens because the filter has not been screwed on correctly. Whenever you screw on a filter ALWAYS look all the way around the lens, plant the filter flatly on the lens, screw it on slowly and while doing this, look around the lens again to make sure you are not screwing the filter on a slight angle as if you do, it can with cross the threads and it will get stuck.If you do see this about to happen, Stop ! Unscrew and Restart.Over tighening can also get filters stuck on lenses, so never over do it.2: Some people also say circular polarising filters do not do anything....Well for some shots they won't and others they will make a big differnce, this agian is not a fault of the filter, it's what you expect from it.As you can see on my photos, the filter gets rid of the reflection on the floor but the reflection on the glass is still there. This is due to 2 main factors, the filter has to be rotated to stop the reflection light hitting the camera sensor. Depending on which angle you rotate it the filter, will effect the reflections. Also the angle from where i'm standing to take the shot, to where the Sun or lightsource is also effects the amount of reflection I can reduce with a filter.So in some shots it will be harder to get the effect you want depending on these factors.End note: When you have the right place to use Circular polarisers they can remove or control reflections from surfaces. As most scenes contain some kind of glare, this will help you control that glare before it ever gets to your image and help you 'up your game'.

Boy! I like the way they make products. There is a beautiful subtle finish to this filter. I don’t think I’ll buy any other brand in future.

Every time I’ve used the filter gets stuck on a 24-70 Nikkor lense. Very frustrating

Purchased to go with my 50mm prime lens.Easy to fit, just screw on, helps reduce glare and reflections, helps massively when taking photos of cars.

overall I'm happy with the purchase, the filter is cheap and does the job, I'm not a pro but didn't experience any quality degradation on my Tamron 28-75 and Tamron 28-200 on A7III body. The coating is nice to have and easy to clean. Previously I had Hoya HRT and at the end of the day it does the job as well but it was much more difficult to get it clean especially from salty seawater. The only thing I don't like is the filter hosing (cover), it's huge (universal I guess, for all K&F filters) and it happened to me that in rush I didn't close it properly (easy to do it) and filer fell off to my bag, fortunately, due to the coatings it didn't get any scratches and was easy to clean.

After using this for a while...Visually I can't complain. But the ergonomics are difficult. It's as if the filter has welded itself onto the front of my lens, removal is extremely difficult and the thin profile means I'm constantly smearing my greasy digits all over the edges of the filter (which is badly suffering from stiction, preventing smooth rotation! A compounding effect)Overall. Okay, not the best but not terrible

Got all the DSLR stuff, but wanted a CPL for my bridge camera. Initially bought a cheap one because I wasn't sure how much I'd use it, especially for landscapes. However, the camera is so light and versatile that I find that I now use the DSLR very little, so I looked for upgraded filters for the bridge. The CPL is the most important, of course, so I tried this as a first go, and I've not been disappointed. Yes, I could spend a fortune on really good filters, but for an enthusiastic amateur of advancing years, this will do nicely. I have used it for a few weeks, and have been very pleasantly surprised at the results. Very good value.

Optically this CPL seems fine, however it is a slim line filter which means that while the rotating ring is easy to grab, the ring that screws into your filter mount on the lens is very thin. The filter therefore is not the easiest to remove from your lens if the thread gets tight, you will need a filter cloth or similar to get the filter off the lens. The action on the CPL ring itself is well damped, so once set isn't prone to getting knocked out of alignment. The filter comes in a fairly robust circular plastic case which although robust is fiddly to close, K&F seem yo have gone out of their way to make the case awkward to use. All in all a good filter especially for the price.
