Ivory Flameless Real Wax Candles with Remote 4, 5, 6, and 8-Inch Unscented LED Candles of 4

At first I was excited because these came very nicely packaged. Overall, they are fine for decoration and the light is nice (it can be dimmed and you can change from "light" mode to "candle effect" mode. The problem I have with these is that the batteries (size C) seem to be too heavy for the construction of the product. They fall out the bottom and/or weigh down the bottom, so even though the battery cover on the bottom does latch closed (only with the help of me applying strong packing tape over it) the power is somewhat lacking. I can get 3 of the 4 to work all the time with the bottoms taped. One of them doesn't work unless I actually push on the battery case cover and hold it there. They do look nice though and the lighting mode options are nice, but having to tape the bottoms is irritating and disappointing. I like them enough that I will keep them and I do use them a lot, but I wouldn't buy them again or buy them for anyone as a gift because of the battery cover/power to light issue. If they were priced higher I would've returned them, but with what you get (4 fairly large candles that are nice looking) I figured they are worth keeping even with the flaws.

I was really pleased with these. The combination of sizes in one package is the best one I've seen. I found it hard to find a set with a taller candle, as this one has an 8". The remote was a nice benefit I didn't expect to love. I thought it would just be an on/off switch. It actually allows you dim/brighten the leds. You can switch from steady light to "candle" mode which has occasional flickering. There is also the option to leave the candles: steady on, 4 hr limit, 8 hr limit.My minus one star is because of the batteries. Each candle requires 2 C size batteries. For some reason I missed that when I purchased them. The battery container is also "weak." There appears to be a place to screw the battery door down, but the product did not come with screws. That's ok for me, because I hate the expectation that I screw down a battery door regardless of apparent safety concerns. So I wasn't going to screw it down regardless. However, the battery cover on one of the candles wouldn't stay closed without tape. Thus 4 stars.

Nice proportions that work together great for mantle or coffee table, but can also be spread out to individual rooms for emergency lighting. Very much like the "ivory" pearly white: not too white, not beige-y). Work right, nice remote options. Wax with deep-set flame-shaped glass light that can be set by (easy/intuitive) remote to Bright (not bright like a lamp) or LO (very nice) and to either flicker like a real candle or not. Remote can do all candles at once when grouped. Will look good for holidays. Carefully and very attractively packaged, each within a sheath and it's own eco-attractive (brown with some nice design) box inside the larger set box: looks like a gift package by design. I'm going to give a set to friends to cheer up their winters and to be there for safe lighting in power outages. I do wish they'd put some simple graphic instructions. Since they didn't, I'm going to have to insert the batteries myself and then put the candles back into the boxes and wrap before I give to some friends. Each candle takes 2 C batteries.

I have purchased several different battery operated candles. I real love this brand of candles a lot.ProsWax texture is very attractive, it is very sleek and modern style candle.Looks real when lit, the glow is towards to top half of the candle.The color is a very light cream.The flickering light looks very realistic.They are unscented which can be a pro or a con.ConsThe flame at the top of the candle is visable from the topping on the smallest candle, the larger ones you can not see the flame lightbulb. However, some other brands have a real looking wick, which is nice when they are not lit. But they don't have as much of a realistic flicker when lit, as this candle does. So there is give and take.I put this brand on our dinning room table, and it looks absolutely real.There is no scent, this can be a pro or a con.Candle lovers will like this set.Overall it is a great candle set and reasonably priced, I have already purchased an additional set and have received many complements.

Honestly, these candles are really cool. Love the concept and they’re reasonably attractive. I bought them to save money on buying lots of candles because I like to use candlelight a night. Unfortunately, I ended up returning them because the light color was too yellow, not close enough to actual candlelight.

I gave this as a gift, and the recipient is thrilled. We are both impressed by the realistic flickering + waxy exterior like a real candle + varying sized candles + remote controlled! Home run!My only gripe is that the lighted part is at the same height on all 4 candles, regardless of how tall the candle is. So, the tallest candle, to me, looks pretty fake because the "flame" is so far down from the top of the candle. But, it's forgivable.Everything arrived on time and very nicely packaged.

I am happy with the quantity and quality of the candles you get for the money paid. I would buy them again. The only thing is...I was expecting a bit whiter candles and they're a bit too off white for me. Then when you turn on the candle...it's an even yellower tint. And don't expect too much light to emit from them. They're more for ambiance.I really like the 4 hour timer on them. I put the smallest one in my daughter's room and she likes going to bed with it on the timer.

These work as intended. I have not used the remote since prior experience with other candles has resulted in short battery life. I doubt these are any different since having and active radio receiver requires power.My only complaint is the imitation plastic flame located in the wick area. It's clearly visible and immediately gives up the story of these being fake. I still prefer my Pottery Barn Candles, mind you they are much more expensive.
