Q: Which one is better for packing boxes? The brown tape or the clear tape?

I've found the brown tape to be poor quality. It tears easily and stretches. I've not used the clear tape, but have found other non-branded tape sold on Amazon to be better quality than the scotch brown tape.

Q: Does this tape really stick to the box? Have been using a great tape left over from professional packers. Can't find any of same quality.

In my opinion it's not very good quality ..It's ok for lightweight parcels ..I normally use very strong stuff so I was disappointed . It's sticks but I wouldn't put anything heavy in the box .

Q: Can someone tell me if these rolls of tape are for use with the PG50B tape gun dispenser please?

This will work in your hand held tape gun, the important thing to ensure is that the tape is 50mm wide.

Q: Is this paper packing tape or shiny packing tape?

It is shiny packing tape. I bought the tape to seal thick cardboard boxes when I moved house recently. The tape is very sticky so did the job and was cut with scissors. I recommend it and would buy it again.
