Good different
After a injury while doing couch to 5k I read around the subject and these although radical looking seemed to fit my natural toe running style, am still building up but my first run after a six week break was 3k this was also the farthest I have run for 20 years, the next day no pain in my feet or calves, light and cool. Highly recommend.

Great feedback shoe !
Always wanted to try these but when I first tried them on years ago my knackered toes would not fit properly !! So if you have foot problems do not expect an easy perfect fit . That said , if you do manage to order the correct size for you and bearing in mind we are all individual - then they are amazing . They definitely give good proprioceptive feedback for your feet and allow you to go properly from pronation to resupination . Very happy and I am training my feet to get used to them

Double check the size you need!
These were my first pair of Vibrams so I wasn't sure what to expect. I had tried some on in a shop a few years ago and struggled to get my toes into them. My toes bend over and are not as straight as these shoes would assume everyone's toes are. However, after a bit of fiddling and practice I can now get these on in about 20-30 seconds each one, which isn't that bad. It's not a worry at all for me, even when I'm in a rush. These are extremely lightweight and are perfect for not bulking out your bag. You can scrunch them up and they're not really much different to having a pair of chunky socks in your bag. In terms of performance, they are very comfortable, and you forget you have them on. They let you move more naturally than conventional trainers would and I notice myself using my toes a lot more with balance, running, walking and even walking up and down stairs, gripping the edge of each step as I go. The only slight problem I have with them is that I probably ordered a size too big for me. In some shoes I'm a size 11, in others a 10. I ordered a 10.5 in these but didn't realise you need to buy a smaller size in these as they should be a tight fit. Therefore, the heel on mine is slightly loose on each one of my feet. Not enough to affect the performance of them that much but they're not perfect. I should have ordered a 9.5. Other than that I'm very happy with these. I do get some odd looks sometimes as I have the bright red pair, but it doesn't really bother me. I'd rather have shoes that let me move more naturally and healthily than worry about some people looking at me funny :)

Nice tight fit for foot; but may not allow for socks!
I take between a size 9 - 9.5 shoe, so expected these to fit feet snugly; but unsurprisingly there is no other room for toe-socks. I will take this into account when I buy another pair of Vibrams, and will opt for a half size larger (these came in whole sizes only). I like these so much that I am going to buy another pair of Vibrams, though slightly different model. I have found the teething period quite sore on the heels, which I gather is expected for those of us not used to placing our centre of gravity over the front of our feet. However, I know from talking with others, people who are used to walking in high-heels - and therefore already used to being slightly forward in their gait - do not have as much heel discomfort during the transition phase. Recommend following the included advice for breaking them in gradually, and also to wear them around the house. The hardest part for me initially was walking up and down hills in the town; as there is no cushioning on the heel.

Lasted 1 hour
Usual fast amazon delivery. A bit fiddly to put on but extremely comfortable. Used to walk around the house for an evening much to the kids amusement. Did a cardio / martial art class and found the heels kept slipping off. Running was fine. No issues. I bought some socks for these and they were useless. Bear foot is better. Unfortunately after 1 session of a feasibly easy indoor session the rubber split. I can see how these are nice for running. But for a twist and turn / martial art / cardio session they are very intrusive. Too much grip on the front of the toes. (Stubbed big toe twice). Sent for a refund. Not for me.

Aboslutely love them!
Like putting on velour gloves for your feet, it feels great and I absolutely love working out in them. The sole gives you excellent grip no matter the terrain. I was worried they would slip off easily, but those fears disappeared in the first seconds on my first run. Especially delightful if you practice martial arts and need full and precise mobility from your feet (it feels like you're barefoot) The warning I completely disregarded may be cautious, but you should really read a bit into it (it is a bit conservative, but I'm told the experience of getting used to them is gradual for most people).

They are lightweight, have good traction, fit like a glove and are comfortable!
