Great item
The best wooden mallet on the market, very comfortable to hold and use and so little vibration that I actually enjoyed knocking the bat in with it. I've used other mallets such as GM or the ones with a cricket ball at the end but this is by far the best length and strength.

Great for knocking a bat in. Solid made mallet.
Quick postal service. Great for knocking wood, and does the job efficiently given its a big knocker. Only issue I have now is the missus. Have to knock wood when she is out, as it makes some noise.

Poor Quality Manufacture
Within 5 taps of the mallet, the head had become detached from the handle. The handle is quite a loose fit to the head and insufficient glue had been used in the manufacture of the item. It’s obviously a common problem if you read the reviews, and if the supplier had even a basic interest in the quality of their products they must be aware of the issues.

Handle may come loose
The mallet was a bit more pricey then others but has good weight to it so makes knocking in easier, however after about 3000 hits the handle came loose of the mallet, I did force it back in it's ok for a while then it starts to come lose again, I guess you'll need wood glue to permanently keep it in place ,, overall knocking in was very effective with this type of mallet & weight
