I wanted something fairly thick to put under my artificial Christmas tree and this is made with two pieces of felt (green and red color) that is semi-thick. I wanted this to place on the carpet so that metal feet of tree stand wouldn't dig into the carpet and leave indentations. I am on the fence, but I will keep and use until I find something else a bit more substantial. I should have just purchased a mat that is not Christmas themed as the cost goes up exponentially because of holiday.

Good quality to protect any floor surface. Provides a sturdy surface for my tree stand and fits under the tree skirt.

If you have a real tree that sheds needles, don’t use this. Great for under a fake tree.
