Durable and Easy insrall

No other product like it on the market
When You absolutely, positively need to protect a small camera, this is the product. We had to mount a camera where water ran off a roof. This product was perfect to protect the camera and fit in the confined space available.

This hood works very well.Only possible downside is that it has to be attached with screws.Double sided would be a nice option.

Confirm dimensions
The product dimensions are misleading in the website description. The shelter sticks out 7" from the wall and the dimension measured along the wall is 9.8". The description on the website reverses those 2 dimensions.

Does not protect the camera enough.
This camera cover has a pretty deep dome but actually gives only a small area of coverage underneath it. It needs to be installed high enough above the camera to avoid it from blocking the view, thus the deep dome is useless, other than being a bulky eyesore. I'd call it poor design. Where I had it installed above my Nest door bell camera it doesn't afford much protection from the sun or rain. Double sided tape comes off quickly due to the hot sun, so I had to drill screw holes into my stucco wall, which brings a concern for water penettration. Double check if it really provide protection to your camera. Unfortunately you may have to buy one to try to position it above your camera, and have to return it if it doesn't work out.
