Q: How rigid is the steel? Don’t want the headboard moving/leaning if resting against it.

Not sure what you mean, but the bRackets are very solid. My headboard and footboard are firmly installed to the bed frame with these brackets.

Q: Does this convert Queen headboard to king?

No, I don't think it is large enough for that.

Q: How long are the longest bolts that come with this?

Not sure, but if helps, the only bolts included are for attaching the legs to the frame. There were no bolts to attach a footboard or a hewdborad. My long bolts came with the headboard I purchased.
