Buttermilk Pancake Mix Cracker Barrel Pancake Mix Large 2 lb box

I love Cracker Barrel pancakes and no matter what time of day I eat there, I always get them. Don't know how they do it, but this mix tastes exactly like the ones you get at Cracker Barrel, and they're very simple to make. Cracker Barrel has their own brand of syrup, but it is not so unique that I was willing to pay the shockingly high price that an Amazon seller wanted for it. I gave this as a Christmas gift to an out-of-state family member, knowing I needed to send syrup too as they might not have any on hand. Amazon had a good selection of different flavored syrups, and I chose an authentic maple one at a good price. Note: I tried to order the pancake mix and syrup off the Cracker Barrel website since it needed to be shipped, but the website was horrible and I couldn't get it to work. I left a message on the site for someone to contact me regarding this, but no one did. I was delighted to find this pancake mix on Amazon, and with only a few days left to Christmas, they got the mix and the syrup delivered in time for the big day. So kudos to Amazon and their hard workers!

and does not offer returns it is a SCAM?Amazon should stop this kind of consumer trap where you buy an overpriced item and then find out you are trapped and gouged with a no return policy. Cracker Barrel's retail price for this product is $5.95 here in New York State. This vendor is charging $18 for the same 2 pound box. My wife trusted the purchase even though she thought it was a bit pricey and then finds she cannot return the broken package as it has a 'No-Return-FU-we-gotcha' policy.Buyer beware as Amazon cannot monitor the veracity and fairness practices of its vendors. In fairness to Cracker Barrel, the kids do like the pancakes. $6 is also a fair deal. $18 is a robbery.

The pancake mix is good, however, I expected better. They taste so much better at the restaurant, that's a given. I gave it a try and it could be just me, so go ahead you may like it. No offense, to the happy people who like this mix, I wasn't impressed.
