Keeps your hops from clogging up your fermenter or kettle, and easier to clean and sterilise than muslin bags. Top screws on and off easily; use sturdy brewing gloves if you're adding extra hops during the boil as obviously it gets hot (duh). Holds about 100g of leaf hops; any more and I'd worry it would be too crowded which would limit exposure for dry hopping. Holds about double that of pellet hops. Wish it had a heavier base to make it sink when full of leaves, but stick 4 stainless steel teaspoons in to weigh it down and it'll sink into the wort. Filter is effective at keeping most debris out of your final beer.Mesh is easily misshapen through rough handling but that doesn't affect the performance of this device.Thoroughly recommend for boiling, whirlpooling and dry hopping up to those quantities; if you need more buy a second one and whatever you do, don't order one shorter than 29cm.

Buy something more expensive, this is pretty poor compared to my other ones.

Absolutely awful, used several times for hop boils, whirlpool and dry hopping. It's badly designed, I bent the mesh just trying to remove the lid on day 1. Since then nothing has changed the lid design is awful and the mesh is average at best.

Aunque la utilidad que le hemos dado no es para cerveza, el producto es exactamebte como se describe, por lo que no hemos tenido ningun problema.

Ho acquistato questo filtro per utilizzarlo con i luppoli in pellet e devo dire che funziona a meraviglia, è molto più facile il filtraggio finale, l'unica pecca è che nel tappo ci sono i fori grandi perciò bisogna legarlo.

Ottimo per la bollitura dei luppoli, non lascia passare i residui. Io uso i pellet, credo che per i fiori sia un pò piccolo.
