Autosol Chrome Polish Metal & Aluminium Cleaner, 75ml/100gm

I bought this Autosol chrome polish in 2024 to clean and polish the silver frame around my car window, and it did an excellent job. The polish is strong but gentle enough not to damage the surface, and it brought back a nice shine with minimal effort. A small amount goes a long way, and the tube is good quality and easy to use. Overall, I’m very happy with how well it worked — reliable, effective, and definitely worth buying if you want to restore metal or chrome parts.

I'd seen this product many times and really didn't know anything about it. I've just bought a used BMW 5 series and, even though the car had been valeted, the chrome tailpipes were very dirty and didn't look very nice. So I researched how to clean them without damaging them and this product was recommended (along with others). So, I used an iron fallout spray (which to be honest didn't do much) and once I'd cleaned the chrome started on the Autosol with soft wire wool. The results were remarkable. The chrome came out gleaming. I didn't take too much time on this occasion but next time I'll make a better job of the insides because it's the hard to clean corners that aren't up to scratch,but will be.

Great product

As an ex-motorcyclist I have used this stuff to polish the engine. It can after using a bit of elbow grease, bring the aluminium engine casings up to a shine almost looking like chrome. Easy to use, by putting a small bit sqeezed onto a cloth, rub in small circles by working the stuff into the metal for a few moments. Once you rub off the black mess, that's created from the ingrained dirt off the roads. The shine starts showing through. The more you work the better it shines. As you do not need much of it on the cloth,it lasts a long time, so great value for money

Brought to restore the Chrome on the car which has weathered over time. Really easy to follow instructions and easy to do. Comes out the tube well. Restores the car back to how it looked when we brought it rather than the dull look that it had turned into. Highly recommend.

Good polish, but is it better than Autoglym polishes? I think not based on my own experience.

Klopt wat ze zeggen even had het moeten poetsen met een microvezel doek vuil kwam er zo vanaf. En mijn pijp glimt weer. Al paar keren meegereden en nog steeds schoon ziet het eruit en glimt nog steeds.

Utilisée pour polir des frettes de guitare. Après avoir masqué la touche et une partie de la table avec du ruban, j'ai appliqué une fine couche de pâte sur toutes les frettes. Un coup de Dremel avec un disque en feutre patiemment passé et un nettoyage au conditionner après avoir retiré le masquage pour enlever les résidus... L'effet est magnifique ! Je peux presque me voir dedans ! Vu la contenance du tube et la quantité à appliquer, j'en ai pour un bout de temps... Je recommande ce produit sans problème !

Das Mittel hat auch mit wenig Kraftaufwand super Wirkung gezeigt. Habe es für mein Motorrad verwendet.

Pule y limpia el fregadero que lo deja nuevo. Y los sumideros de los lavabos y ducha. Muy bueno, muy bueno. Los arañazos leves los he podido quitar con esta pasta y lana de acero 000. Hay que frotar con energía y antes humedecer la lana de acero en agua jabonosa.
